    The Bombers during the Cup drought had the occasional really good or great time. They just never had a sustained run of success, so all it took was bad kicks or bad luck and we were screwed. Then back to the CFL basement eventually. Rinse and repeat. 

    If we are continually really good under Osh (which we have), we will be competing for Cups. That's a pretty darn good deal. 

     

    Problem for oshea is they peaked 5 seasons ago and it's been a slow slide since then.

    Interesting that a certain OL made this list via his peers yet people are ready to cast him aside!

    Stanley Bryant? I don't think it is a case of people wanting to cast him aside so much as the fact that he's old and there was a slip last year and the question is when is it totally going to fall apart? Sooner or later Bryant is going to retire or be too old to be effective.

    Look I love Mike oshea and everything he has done for this team.... but if you can't recognize that he has had roster construction and usage issues from the get go then I don't know what to tell you... it put him on the hot seat prior to winning in 2019! We've seen Kyle Walters be a very active and pragmatic GM before so I have a really hard time believing that he's just changed so much that he can't be that guy anymore. Maybe he's lost his fire too, but from my perspective it appears that Oshea has a hell of a lot of input and Walters is just giving Oshea what he wants.

    Because Kyle walters didn't dress 3 injured receivers in a Grey cup game... walters gave oshea a backup NI who could play and signed cfl vets for the pr... Kyle walters didn't put collaros out Ina  grey cup game when he couldn't even grip a ball.... these are oshea roster issues that are independent of the gm. It's stuff like that which has garnered the target on O'Shea's back.

    Despite what O’Shea thinks, we need a total overhaul. The roster is ancient and being held together with duct tape and chewed gum. 

    I don't necessarily think it's as bad as all that. Needs some significant tweaks but they're not like they were when oshea started.
