Two backup longsnappers
Two fullbacks
An inferior returner
An inferior defensive line rotation (providing Cole isn't hurt)
480 linebackers
One backup receiver who will be playing his first game ever, flanked by a guy who is really not a receiver at all
Chevon Walker still in the lineup
 

Never thought I'd join the fire Oshea bandwagon... but after reports of the team joking around at practice this year, Osh personally taking control of ST and a complete lack of focus by the team for much of the game...  not much choice.
 
Richie Hall HC, Miles as DC, Howell as OC, bring in Cvet or one of Cvet's Pets as ST coach... can't be worse than what we've got.

Once again tho, the O is stinking it up out there.. that's on MB once again... the O has not been good for a while, even last week, that was SASK, the worst D in the league.. once again the O fails to show up... I'D FIRE MB right now. 
 
The worst move they can make is firing OSHEA before firing MB, cuz if MB was interim coach, I'D never watch a game again until he was gone, i think lots of people would stop watching for real if MB was made interim coach. 

Those interviews while a play is going on are just painful. That's the one thing I just want TSN to stop immediately. 

A big key to keeping Nichols - getting him an OC who can produce a game plan that doesn't involve killing the QB. 

See marcel's entire career. Pretty much every single problem that's happening with this offence can be seen in any team he's coached.
 
I don't want to blame everything on him, cause football is pretty complicated and lots of things lead to mistakes. But We've seen this exact thing play out on every team he's had his hand on.
 
edit - I feel like I'm continuing to beat the hell out of a dead horse. But this is literally the biggest problem with the team and how they are performing.

Honestly, in this thread about firing MB, the common theme revolves around the fact that we may never know what kind of offence we truly do have while Marcel is still employed as OC. Can we comment on the play of such and such, when he has no chance in this offence?
It is, by far, the most high-schoolish offence in the CFL. We truly, could not do worse, if he was gone tomorrow.

Personally I feel the coaches who yell on the sideline are more likely to be a nut job than a Vince Lombardi. I like the quiet, cerebral type like Bud Grant, Trestman, Shula and Tom Landry.  To me O'Shea is fine except for his willingness to let MB run the offence come hell or high water. He's a QB killer and this is a QB's league.

That's a pretty good observation. It's like he's the leader, but also one of the boys. He's struggling with no longer being a teammate and with being the boss. His job isn't to be friends with players or to be loyal. His job is to win games.

Yes, the idea is that a guy making his 2nd start has or might have some limitations. 
In that situation, the deal...... is putting in a game package that playes to his strengths and finds ways to ease some the pressure on him. 
What was served up by MB, (2 week prep) .....was complete incompetence

Marve didn't play well but the game plan was awful.

I'm getting tired of sitting in IGF knowing we have absolutely no chance of winning and having those thoughts confirmed by the end of the first half.  There have been a far disportionate amount of games in that stadium where that has been the case.
 
I'll still be there live for the rest of this year and of course next year and going forward, but this franchise is going to start having a problem selling season tickets and filling the stands if they keep putting this kind of product on the field. At this point I would be happy if I could watch a game where we are competitive and in the game until the end, even if we end up losing....

you know what that poll proves... only Bomber and Rider fans are voting... I'm not sure what's more laughable... Elimimian and Bighill combining for only 7% of the vote or Brackenridge getting 37% of votes.... 

Let me be clear about this. They must have overpaid to get him to sign. 

It's being reported on TSN by Lawless that Simmons wanted to play in Winnipeg because of....Mike O'Shea.

Walters has done his job. The problems with the Bombers are Bellefeuille and to a lesser extent, O'Shea.
