Up against an away Bomber game (in TO), but I think I would go to this if I'm in town.

thought this was.... interesting......?
If they can't find scoring in the playoffs, they could totally be done in the first round. But, it's just as likely that Helle wins that first round by himself.

Keep checking this thread for Bomber free agent signings and see nothing but jersey talk.

My last one was a Westerman jersey. I want to get a Demski jersey but just haven't pulled the trigger.

the park isn't used as a concert venue that often (like not as often as Canada Life Center or IGF or even the convention centre)
That's the second concert announcement this year. I feel like there have been many years without any other events besides baseball at
GlobalShawBlue Cross Park. -

People take themselves to serious nowadays.
No, people just don't put up with thinly veiled misogyny any longer.

Who will you be most disappointed about when they are among the first cuts this spring?

He sent my son a signed photo. He was pure class.
He worked so hard on the dline bible. I followed him on Twitter just to see all the all the work he put into it.
The photo is still on our fridge.

Elliott coulda been something, but he wouldn't put up with Lapos bullshit and tried to go it on his own. Never a good career move to ignore the coaching even if you are right.
Drink!
He also went to BC and Ottawa and couldn't do it, so it's not all on Lapolice.

US also kept the games on network TV. Nowadays, it doesn't mean as much, but it definitely did over the past 20 years. TSN has done the best that they were willing to do, nothing more.

Glenn Howard is playing with his son in the Brier and he's old as dust.
Jones has been able to play this long because she's smart and consistent. The physical side has definitely caught up to her.
The game can grind you down and playing in bonspiels is grueling.
I think about it a lot, of why we don't see older players, but I think it's more physical than you think. Also, eventually, you just can't play that much. To be a top team, you need to play a lot, or win everything you do play, which isn't feasible.
Jones' career was stretched out by winning the Scotties so often, she didn't have to win Manitoba each year and then they expanded the size of the pool.

Jones is playing like the Jones of 10 years ago. Amazing. I hope she can keep it going.

It sort of felt inevitable. But, this time, Walters had the upper hand negotiating. I'm kind of surprised he didn't go UFL, then sign with a CFL team when that contract ended.

Sure- but clearly that day ain't here yet.
But, I don't think @Fatty Liver's take is a horrible one.
And, so instead of expecting more out of men, we make young women bend? F*** that. It is a horrible take because it says that men can't control themselves when the reality is that they make their own choices.
Just now, Fatty Liver said:I was referring to what I would advise my daughter if she was in that situation, other women can do whatever they like. I do not personally see it as a safe work environment filled with really good people with wonderful intentions. Sue me.
Even worse. Tell your daughter she can't live her life because we make excuses for pathetic men.

Not at all, but you're naive if you think a testosterone filled locker room is a certified "work safe environment". Maybe part of her job was to shoot players up with pain killers so they can perform their duties for our amusement.
So, yes? Blame the victims because we couldn't possibly ask grown men to not harass the staff.

If she was my daughter I'd advise taking a job working intimately with 100 football players with no other women in sight was not a good idea, something was bound to happen, and it did. For cripes sake, her contract only paid $25,000, she could have made more in any other situation.
We're still blaming the victims? Good god.
