Saskatchewan has four quarterbacks under contract as of now – Harris and Shea Patterson were already signed for 2024, and Antonio Pipkin and Fine signed extensions this off-season.
O’Day said the Roughriders are comfortable with those four arms at camp, but could bring in someone from their negotiation list.
Herein is why Oda'y sucks as a G.M and the Riders will be sucking in general...again...,,Or be a key reason for the continued suckage.... What a pitiful QB room.....fronted by an even more pitiful O-line
I, for one, have no problems with how O'Day GMs the Riders.

Arizona is gonna go to salt lake. Bettman works for the owners and the owners are rumored to be tired of the shenanigans in Arizona.
Atlanta is a pipe dream and right now Houston is also.
salt lake can stay in the central. It makes 2 much sense.
Houston is far more certain than Salt Lake City. They've been biding their time like True North did.

Atlanta will need to get in line if and when the NHL expands, I really think that they want the Houston market and a ready made rivalry with Dallas and Utah has expressed interest. People in Quebec would love a team but I don't think the NHL really wants another Canadian team. The expansion fee is going to be outrageous so whoever wants a team in any of these cities will have to have deep pockets.
Houston makes a lot of sense. I really thought the Yotes were going there.
Expand to Houston and Salt Lake City. Water down the product even more. Profit.

Goes both ways, adding $250k to the receiver budget for Schoen doesn't work well either.
WR budget is much larger than the RB budget. You keep Schoen and go rookie/cheaper for the rest of the spots.

Curious if they go after Schoen...Whitehead is likely out...Hatcher prob wont be back till very late into season....they Punted Rhymes...I bet they are the ones we be seeing big money from....they did it before with Lucky...also Lawler but he spurned them
I think Schoen goes to Montreal. They have the space and they will want to run it back.

We should have some draft picks from last year coming back to camp this year too.

Streveler jersey sales are gonna be popular so if you wanna be different go with a Kramdi one. He will be starting and here for 3 years.
But Streveler will live in our hearts for generations!
But, Grandpa, did you see him play?
I sure did. The man picked up the frozen ball and carried it fifty yards to the endzone. Carried eight tacklers with him. Carried the hopes and dreams of all of Bomber Nation with him too. He ran all the way to Portage & Main.

Let's not forget that Collaros and Sir Strevolution can be on the field at the same time.

The same reason Jackson and Bennett held roster spots.
There was no one behind Jackson or Bennett?

because Osh overly favours vets?
I don't believe Koala held the 1C spot because he was better than Eli..... but that's just IMO, and as we've always said, the average fan knows almost nothing about the OL. And that's fine... I'm just eyeballing it, but thats' what it SEEMED like to me......
Eli was here first. And, we have seen him replace lots of players. Where did Darby finish the season?

Eli will have the chance in camp to earn the centre spot. Kolo held it last year for a reason.

Early to tell this year, we haven’t had a significant raise like this since zachs contract after 2019. Maintaining on a team retaining most but not all players while still losing guys is different than retooling like we have to now. 50k is 50k, we need to be cutting the fat and saving not the opposite.
Wide receiver expenses have had big increases.
