  2. Finally makes sense why Perry was brought in by the Oilers... you need someone who is just as big of a douchebag as Kane so they can speak the same language. 😂 https://oilersnation.com/news/nhl-insider-speculates-connor-mcdavid-leon-draisaitl-went-to-corey-perry-for-help-with-evander-kane

I sure hope they aren't partnering with Access to supply card processing in the stadium. Access can't even provide a stable e-transfer system for their clients, can't imagine they can handle the processing from an event the magnitude of a Banjo Bowl.

  5. Excerpt taken from a story from the Hockey Writers (Kings: What’s Behind Pierre-Luc Dubois’ Struggles This Season?) by Michael Ostrower: Finding a Groove A challenge in being on three teams in four seasons is finding chemistry with linemates. He has had to learn three different systems while having multiple head coaches who put him in dozens of different line combinations. This has especially been a challenge this season for the Kings, as he has had two head coaches and has yet to play in any line combination that has spent over 165 minutes together. So far this season, Dubois has spent 164.4 minutes with Kevin Fiala and Alex Laferriere, 129.8 with Laferriere and Arthur Kaliyev, and 107.1 with Laferriere and Carl Grundstrom. To look at those numbers and think Dubois is entirely to blame for his inconsistency is foolish, as it is impossible to get accustomed to a new city, facility, team, and system when you have inconsistent linemates and coaching. He has spent time across the lineup, too, playing as a first-line scorer and a third-line checker, and every role in between. He is a dominant offensive force when utilized correctly, it is just time for his head coach to see that. I'm pretty confident this article was actually written by PLD. Phone call to the Hockey Writers: Hi, I'd like to speak to Michael Ostrower. HW: I'm sorry, who? Caller: Michael Ostrower? HW: Nope, no one here by that name.

    The TV Thread

Watched Curb finale last night, it was fantastic. Have to admit getting a bit emotional seeing Richard Lewis in the final scene. Glad that he was given a lot of screen time in the finale and made me burst out laughing several times in his interactions with Larry. Seinfeld also made an appearance and stole the show. They even managed to work in how they should have done the Seinfeld finale, in the second last scene of the show, which was gold. It was good to see Jerry and Larry David together again, if only for a few brief moments.

  10. Guys, the world is ending today. Reliable sources on the Internet have said so. Sadly this a discussion is moot. 🤣

  11. The lions are experts at picking through our ol left overs lol. The riders are expertly bad at it. Ringmaiden has contributed a ton of talent scouting and managing. And doman has been great as an owner. But the lions are still building a team that keeps getting worse on the field and in culture. I feel like change is gonna be brewing for them as soon as they dip in performance.
