  1. There's a couple NCAA receivers and DL who have been hyped as first or second rounders that I could see dropping pretty far. The receiver and DL classes are really deep. For that reason I could see an early run on OL (much shallower group) even if their ability isn't quite up to snuff.

  2. take best player available first pick....load the lines with remaining.....and make it work with the guys going to camp....and pick team same way...best player per position available and make it work with the way you structure ratio/depth....done yup....best guy on board who can actually take reps now as a legit back-up or who can actually push to start or be projected as a starter.....as any pro athlete save for an big ol fatty lineman can play most teams with good coaching

  3. For me, Sénécal. He can be molded into a rb/wr super sub who also does short yardage duty, and can run a package like streveler if you want. I don’t see near enough incentive to flip the qb ratio, and I don’t see the upside or polish in the rest of the QBs that is any thing you can’t easily find in imp rookie free agent QBs at all times. none cheat answer, if I had to take one qb as a qb it’d be elgersma. I think he has better mobility (especially after the acl for rourke) better size, and more arm talent. I like him as well as a project guy, especially since he’s been in our camp before and is extremely familiar with the organization.

  5. The CFL has moved the draft up a couple hours tomorrow due to the Leafs game. Starts at 5pm CST now. Newest draft rankings are out as well. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/04/28/elic-ayomanor-vaults-to-top-spot-in-spring-edition-of-cfl-scouting-bureau/

  6. We are looking at a quick exit IF we don't start hitting like we did in game one and 2...We are small BUT we proved we can hang with them ...we just forgot about that part of our game in St. Loo....can't do that....Best of 3 now....still got a shot

  7. A couple frustrating losses for sure. However, I thought we outplayed them pretty significantly last game in the first and then periods 2 and 3 were kind of even. It was a closer game than the score dictated because St. Loo had all the puck luck and we had none to speak of. We are going to need more at home, but I think we will get more at home. Those suggesting that St. Loo is hitting us out of the building need to look at the stats. The first game in Loo we outhit them, and last game we finished a couple hit shy of them. Our team will look a lot better getting Lowry/JoMo out against the Thomas line, and getting our first line out against their weak defensively 2nd line again. Match ups are huge in the playoffs and it is now advantage Winnipeg next game. I expect an entirely different result.

  8. Honestly, any of our top 4 picks in this draft could be starters and should be excellent picks. Idc so much where we extra futures or where we grab immediate production, as long as we make good picks and im sure we will in the top half. Avoid rb qb lber in the top half and it’ll be hard to miss.

  9. I have no problems with Canadian kids getting their shots with the NFL. Only some don't treat the CFL with enough respect. At least the Canadians who don't bother to go to the CFL Combine because they feel it's beneath them still have a Plan B available to them in the CFL if things don't work out for their NFL dreams. Lots of free agent American players in the same boat know it's over if they don't make an NFL squad. Canadians get a second chance. Kurtis Rourke got drafted by the 49ers. If he impresses Shanahan & works hard, the kid is in a pretty good spot being coached by a coach like him. He landed in a really good spot with a good team.

  11. For some reason my interest in the start of the season has ramped up considerably today. I can't quite get my glove on why...

  12. What talk? talk from who? Fans? Media? I'm not against the idea of moving on from him, but Jets management have not said a word to anyone regarding the matter. Bottom line is he is the only play driver they have for the 2nd line. If they are to move on from him they better be able to find another comparable play driver. Ehlers return could be a good thing or a bad thing, it will depend on cost. I don't believe for a second the Jets have no interest in him and I think they would be crazy not to, however, I do believe they have a max number on his worth and that number is probably not going to get it done.

  13. the first pick needs to be a potential starter within a year, if that's an ol great, but the first pick shouldn't be just a positional need , If a db pick is more likely to be that starter then we should go there.

  15. I could see us targeting Winnipeg’s Gavin Coates. He’s an excellent inside prospect with size to play G but a natural C. Nasty and explosive, not as rangy but still good to get to the second level. This draft has a few guys who could stick at RT too. Which is a tremendous value.

  16. Good, might cause some U-Sports players to check back in with reality and take their CFL opportunity more seriously. You want to make a living playing football or go get a job ******?

  18. Shockingly low amount of CFL draft prospects who got NFL UDFA deals. I think only 2 of the DL along with the guys who were drafted. Lots of rookie mini-camp invites but those don't often lead to main camp spots. For a lot of those guys the best path to a real NFL shot will be playing in the CFL. Good news for the CFL. And for the draft, it's pretty wide-open. There's only a handful of guys that are unlikely to be available for CFL camps.
