The Bombers will lead into the pre-draft weekend with a press conference tomorrow, February 5th, at 10:00am to discuss Free Agency as it pertains to the Blue Bombers.

We already know N. Moore won't be extended, and I've assumed Walker and Shell are gonzo, so that leaves 7 players, including 3 Non-imports. How many of these 7 guys will be announced as re-signed by Walters tomorrow?

Any guesses or half wishes, preferences?

Marshall? Hajrullahu? Pontbriand? Newman? What about Washington?

As with Lirim...some are missing the point.

Lirim is not in a position to be asking anything contract-related from the Bombers. He should smile, and say thank you to another entry level contract, just to try out.

Sergio Garcia is under contract as a kicker as well. They must feel he can do the job if they don't sign Medlock.

Not surprised about Washington. He probably wants a tonne of money and plays a position we've recruited fairly well at.

Maybe they plan on drafting a kicker. (Along with signing Medlock in free agency.)

I don't mind an import kicker... as long as he can do all 3 duties... and is very good at what he does... none of this Alex Serna nonsense...

LH lost his job, the rest? Walters thinks he can get better return for his money. No probs with any of this really. Down periscope is my favorite line of the week though ...

Scott Mitchell is hearing the Bombers would kick tires on Keyon Raymond.  I like Raymond, and I think he is a great community guy, but not sure he would fill the void of what we're looking for.

One play totally defines a guys career!

I think that play says more about Arcenaux than it does about Washington. The guy is a powerful receiver and could do that to a lot of DBs in this league.

If you're judging a guy's career based on what Manny Arceneaux did to him, then there isn't a quality DB in the league...

Harris, Messam, Shologan, Westerman, Laurent, Goossen, Chungh, Kohlert...  about $1 million of the cap

 

Washington is far from the only DB that Manny has done that to.  He did this one like 2 weeks later:

 

There now seems to be a lot of favourable comments about Washington...as it should be.

Makes me wonder why a Bomber fan? would post an unflattering video... After all, there is a video on Washington's incredible 96 yard kickoff return out there too.
