They've gone hard in free agency both years under Walters and signed some of the bigger names available. It doesn't mean a damned thing if you can't draft well and can't supplement your free agent additions through your scouting. 

 

Free agency is but one part of building a winning team. Scouting is so important & where we've really fallen down. Our CFL draft record is so so under Walters. A hit with Chungh & a miss with Richards & that seems how it's been since 2014. Very similar to Joe Mack. I don't see much of a difference with Walters & I was a huge critic of Mack's drafting .I expected much more from Walters as he was considered a CIS guru when it came to drafting players. Very much a disappointment.

I wouldn't want Bagg or Getzlaff here. Older players who will want big contracts again on the downside. Getzlaff can't stay healthy. I like Anthony Allen. If there's 1 FA from the Riders worth signing, it would be Allen.

I'd suspect banned for talking crap about the mods here. Saw him on TEP also. Saw him posting Penton's article about OC's and actually taking credit like he wrote it. Dude has snapped. Gone cwazy

As for free agents... Andrew Harris made some interesting comment about needing to find out where his heart is.... perhaps it's in Winnipeg. That would be awesome and also help out our Canadian ratio

His problem was that for all his stalking of people on twitter to try and get a scoop he really didn't know much about football. Yeah he went to training camp but I don't think he really knew what the hell he was watching cause his reports often were contradictory to what everyone else saw. Just another attention ***** who wasn't smart enough to really get the respect and attention he so desperately wanted. 

Probably enough about gbill, he made a decision to no longer be a member here so let's let him be. If anyone wants to know more, you sure all seem to know where you can find him and ask.

As #Argos close 2015 today, their pending FAs include Ray, Owens, Harris, Keeping, Foley,  Laing , Cummings, Okpalaugo, Gabriel & Waters  #CFL

 

 

Those will be a nice additions for the Bombers.

Harris could sign here for $10,000 less and still live better. Vancouver is a great cosmopolitan city with an incredibly diverse assortment of stores and restaurants downtown, but you gotta have the bucks. Harris's career isn't going to last forever and I would bet his post-CFL life would be a lot better here.

Curious how much gas is in the tank for Harris. He hasn't looked particularly great the last couple seasons, but not sure if that's him or the Lions...
