Maybe.  That part of it is out of their control.

 

But they definitely like him enough to bring him back to training camp next year.

OK, I get it Brohm's thumb…moving on...

 

but I don't get that just because Portis signed first. I think there is still somewhere in the lineup for Brohm, for the time being, and maybe try to get a draft pick back for him if anybody is interested.

There is a need for back ups, and Brohm could fill that void.

I hope so. But he'll get sniffs from BC and Regina. I like the quickness and decisiveness with which he runs the offence. Some of the other QBs could learn from him in that regard. If Brohm saw more 1st team reps, he'd surprise a lot of people. Hopefully he's back here and gets a chance to do that.

I don't think the Portis signing means anything other than we wanted him back and I don't care if Brohm is back or not.  I'd be happy to see Marve move into the #2 spot.

I think Portis would have wanted some assurance about being on the active roster before he re-signed. This makes me less confident Brohm will be back, which is too bad b/c I'm a fan.

 

I'm a fan of all of our qbs though so I guess I'll be ok no matter what happens...

I'm thinking it's because Brohm probably wants a chance to play more and probably won't get that here with Willy and even Marve showing more potential.

Could win the Grey Cup 50-3 and people would cry and moan about the 3 points

a 100% healthy team at the start of 2015 is going to look SO good compared to what we saw in the back half of 2014. I have zero doubts about this...

Simply baffling.. He has put up the best numbers we have seen in damn near a decade... And that's still not worthy of some positivity lol..

What does that even mean?  If a coach/manager thinks a guy can play for his team he'll sign him if it's his first team or his 100th.
