I’m at camp today. First observation is DeShaan Dixon has the shortest shorts I’ve ever seen on a football player.

Full depth chart is up at the site.

Looks like Smith is out and Woodbey has joined Dixon on the 6-game

About the biggest concern with that roster is, will Vaval be the dime? If it's going to be a Canadian, that will spell trouble and quick. Bouliane is less of a sam than Shay. I'm sure if someone is needed at that spot, it won't be him.

7 DL is an improvement. 2 dis at DL? Some one pinch me I must be dreaming! Its a group full of guys who can get after it too, and Gatkuoth. Im really interested to see what Reese would do with better surroundings and more reps. Even if he is a bit wild, it might be beneficial to have a DL with some edge for once.

Yeah sucks Smith is out and adding Boulaine really adds nothing. He or Kelly shouldnt see the field over Shay...gotta give him his reps/chance to show...we know what Kelly and Hallett bring/brought....which was not much

I like this dline configuration...a lot...Reese is so quick he may really add something we have been lacking up front...I could see if he really shows well and when Dixon is ready again that Jenkins could be bumped off if he is just so so and we roll with Dixon, Fletcher, Ceresna, Lawson, WJ, Reese and Gatkouth

That could be a lethal front

Woodbey on 6 game....same with Dixon is kinda just paperwork and could have been 1 gamed , but I guess we may be able to take advantage of the off the books SMS of they need a little extra time, and the replacements are ballin...we seem to be avoiding the 1 game IR so far this yr

My only complaint is still that wasted WR spot...Hopefully when Eli is 100 percent he takes over for his audition and we add an import

I definitely wouldn't expect Bouliane to see the field on D, he's just there to fill Smith's spot on special teams

Just read that Kolo isn't starting for Ham. It was a beautiful dream we had to watch New Jake line up against him.

Unfortunately this means we will see Kelly on D

yeah....I'd put Vaval in before anyone we have on roster right now really...he is the best option. And if injury concern is a issue then having Singer as well as Cobb on the roster would be the wise move....that be for the overall betterment of roster at expense of Elsbury...so hopefully that happens when ELI is back to full practice

Really looking forward to what JY does with his legit group upfront.

damn!!...well if Kolo beat out the other center....he prob gonna struggle with our front...but woulda loved to see kolo ole'in guys left right and center

It's still a 6-DL lineup. Reese is replacing Vibert as Reserve

Yep, they are moving Dobson to C, at least for this game. Blue Flu is terrible but I'd imagine that Kolo is fully healthy again come Friday.

Reese on for Woodbey

Fletcher on for Dixon

Bouliane on for Smith

Vibert wasn't on the position chart last week.

I like the extra DL in place of the extra LB...

Smith to Boulaine is likely a huge downgrade... hopefully we start to see Shay get some defensive reps...

Yeah...big downgrade..I would have rather we added that Global for ST work

Bouliane was a 3rd round pick it's not like he is some bum off the street

he is no Smith....hence tho the downgrade and a raw rookie....no slight against him...just what it is. If he was an upgrade he woulda bumped one of Smith..Shay..Hallett..Kelly....off the roster...or replaced one of Stuart or Clarke...so in effect had 6 guys ahead of him deemed better...tho it is Osh so you never know hahaha

Like the 7 man DL. Worried about Boulaine or worse Kelly getting D reps.

To me, this reads as a pretty good indication that we're going to start playing our lineup to match the opponent this season ... which is something we used to do a lot more of but kind of got away from. I don't think you're going to see Bouliane or Kelly getting any kind of significant reps on defense unless there's an injury of some kind but I do think you're going to see a few interesting sets that might find one of them on the field here and there. Hamilton's OL doesn't look very strong on paper and I would imagine we're going to see a lot of pressure on Bo.

God, reading Hamilton's depth chart their whole team kinda sucks. Yikes.
