Any thoughts on which rookie rises to the top this year?

I expect the rec from the Rifles to look as good or better than any other rookie Cdn rec out there. He’s small, but he has the talent to play the CFL in the next few years.

I hope you are right, as he would be a territorial exemption, but it a pretty big leap from Rifles to CFL.

He’s only 21 so he’s a few years away. He had multiple USport programs chasing him this offseason, but turned them down so he could attend Bombers camp.

Big jump from Usport to CFL. I'm not shitting on the kid, but the likelihood he is as good or better than any of our rookie NAT receivers seems pretty remote to me. I hope he develops into the talent that allows us to make him a territorial exemption but the likelihood he does so in this first rookie camp is pretty low. Hope I'm wrong though.

He was in rookie camp with us last year so not his first rodeo.

Elgersma just slipped on a pile of snow and is done for the season.yea it snowed. lol. Barely anything but enough to end seasons before they begin.

Agreed but you would think the someone (Bombers, Rifles, whoever is in his ear) would be telling him to take the USports opportunities if he had no chance with the Bombers.

Probably a little slower in a straight line but the kind of guy who has game speed because he's so technically sound that he doesn't waste any movement. Guy pays attention to every detail of his game, so hard to bring down.

Perhaps school isn't his thing and he feels being on our PR is better, hypothetically.
