Goalie Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago One day some of you will want Jake Thomas back when he’s finished. It’s just wild honestly. Osh gets the **** on for his apparent love of vets and every time an ex bomber veteran gets released from another team or doesn’t get released even,Bring him back. It’s just crazy stuff. No. Those are the guys that once you move on from, you don’t bring back. Like bringing lucky whitehead back last year. Just nope. That was dumb and a reminder why you don’t bring veterans you once moved on from back.

Wouldn't surprise me if he passed on Woli as well because picking him up would mean that he made a mistake. Osh never admits he made any mistakes. MOS has brought back multiple guys that were cut in the past. Thomas being one of them. Lucky whitehead last year. Houston this year. Castillo too I think. I understand your distain for the guy, but stop making stuff up. wbbfan and K-Shack 2
JuranBoldenRules Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Wolitarsky is already paid for the rest of the season after Game 9. 0% chance he gets cut. Piggy 1 1
Booch Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago In all honesty I dont really understand why they dumped Woli...he just turned 30 this yr and was probably performance wise one the more reliable guys we had game in and game out And not like he was an injury magnet...missed 4 games in 2022 and guy came back with a brace from that MCL injury and played just fine Last yr got ribs busted from suicide passes and getting the gritty yards, so why he was tossed away before his bonus...which wasnt much either was pretty short sighted considering the pickle we in with Canadian receiver depth ...receiver depth in general really.....and in this lame offence as well...A dependable guy who you can trust and your QB had great chenistry with as he always knew where to be for ZC....just dumb And he made peanuts too really when you look at his salary and what he gave you If he was available via trade thats one to definitely make Bigblue204, Piggy 1 and Stickem 1 2

But even having him for half a season would have been fine for the Bombers. Wasn't a necessary move. Would have help with new offensive coaching staff too. rebusrankin and Bigblue204 2

Atomic Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago Seemed like they wanted to let Clercius run with that spot. Although now that we're sometimes starting 3 Canadian receivers, there still could have been room for Woli. Even in a backup role. rebusrankin 1

The vets that people speak about wanting back are guys who at least at one point "excelled" and were bright spots on the team. At no point that I can remember of anyone who thought Jake Thomas "was the man". My only memories of him going back is that he's a guy that "doesn't get hurt" and has been around a long time. wbbfan 1

Lucky also had his contract expire as he ended the year on the PR. Houston left as a free agent, and Castillo did as well. I will say we've seen him bring back TC camps later in the year, and guys from previous camps, etc. I do not believe mos had any thing against adams or bringing him back. I think Darvin got to a point where he had a bounce back year on a bad team making a big big chunk of money, and the only interest in him was vet min type deals. So he moved on from football. I really liked what darvin brought, and as a person he is a great guy. I think he chose a great time and way to walk away. He played a full 18 game season for the first time in his career, he put up good numbers, walked away healthy, and with 2 rings. He isn't a guy who gets talked about alot in the 19 run, but boy he was big for us in those play offs. 3 minutes ago, Brandon said: Who on here is going to want this? No one is going to long for the return of Jake. His best football was in 19 and prior. And even in 19, we had stove and nevis as well. He is so far removed from being a guy you'd want it's sad. bigg jay and K-Shack 2

My only memories of him going back is that he's a guy that "doesn't get hurt" and has been around a long time. this is a little bit revisionist... most would agree he was a nice quality rotational piece on the DL... up until about 2021... my fondest memory of him (and what I would consider essentially his last useful play as a Bomber) was his bullrush that led to a holding call in OT of the 21 GC... that penalty negated a good run, put Hammy into 1st and 20, which became 2nd and 18, and the rest is history... Jake should've went out on top after that year johnzo and Noeller 2
17to85 Posted 25 minutes ago Report Posted 25 minutes ago Jake was always that high effort rotational depth Canadian that had a use... but now he's treated like he's prime Doug Brown.... which is insane. Even when he was good he was still just depth. Brandon and bigg jay 1 1
