Bighill,Thomas, unfortunately, Christ Streveler are the ones that need to be let go first. Schoen and Lawler need to be priorities, Tony Jones was fantastic in filling in for Bighill.

I love Bob but any list of priorities with Jake Thomas on it = trash.

Castillo can probably take a hike too.  Nice that he can hit from 60, but an American kicker can't last at sub 80%.

He's such a leader and great locker room guy means jack shite if he can't demonstrate actual productivity on the field other than high fiving people.

I'd normally say bring in competition but if we sign Castillo back you know he will be the guy given the track record of our head coach.

I'm not sure where we are with our cap, but it could be a good year (2024) to go over and create cap space for next year.

It will be interesting to see what the league says when they announce the Lions are over the cap.

It's the first time when a team has willingly gone over.

The Bombers should use marketing money funds to no end until the league closes the loophole.

It’ll be interesting to see how far over they are. Most overages have been dollar for dollar in the first two tiers so far. They might get a heavy bill or even a draft pick taken away.

Yeah I thought it was interesting when they admitted they'll be over the cap but they don't even know how badly - to me it sounds like they went way over and now have to scramble to get guys to restructure/take cuts before the end of the year.  If their players had gotten bonuses for making it to/winning Grey Cup, it probably would have gone a long way to making that kind of thing happen but they got bounced early.  It'll be interesting to see what their final number is.
