Maybe.  Biggest issue is guy drops a punt and then we're chasing the game instead of controlling it.  Not really an adjustment aside from the fact Whitehead shouldn't be anywhere near a CFL roster in 2024. 

You talked about margin of error to win the game all week.  We made that margin smaller and smaller with stupid mistakes mostly related to catching the ball.

I think Dinwiddie trusted his QB and our D schemed like he wouldn't.  We defended the big play, and Arbuckle just took what was there to manage the game.

We lose our QB and it's basically game over especially since Wheatfall can't play pitch and catch with Wilson.

I don't know what adjustment Dinwiddie made at half to break Collaros finger and have Whitehead drop a punt at our endzone.

Dinwiddie had a great game plan and stayed patient.  He knew it would be a classic CFL game down to the wire either way, gotta be in it at the end then the floodgates opened up for him with our mistakes and Collaros getting dinger.

The most positive thing I can say right now is at least 2019 happened. Beat the drought in the last game Cuthbert called, not to mention the last pre-Covid one, when sports in general felt more important. 

In my lifetime, I did get to see my team shitkick their opponent in a championship game. I did not believe I’d ever be able to say that previously. 

At the time I said whatever the Bombers do after this, I’m good. Granted, trying to hold myself to that now is a challenge but this isn’t 01, 07 or even 22. 
 

Also, they still porked the Riders.

I don't know , brother but when it looked pretty clear, that when they didn't want this to be a match of your o-line plus Brady versus our d-line plus Wynton, we took Lawler from you. 

Threw Wilson (QB) to the wolves when Zach got hurt. If we had taken care of business down the stretch in the regular season, he could have seen some more action. Dude looked terrible when he was in and should have thrown an INT that was dropped

In my view, MOS is a culture coach whereas RD is a schemer (and culture in his own way). I'm glad MOS changed the culture of this team, but give me a RD over a MOS on game day anytime.

And yeah, our other receivers **** the bed which is the story of most of our season with 2-3 of our top 4 guys being down the entire season.

Not going to win in this league if you can't pass for first downs.

Wheatfall should have caught it for sure, but I think we were called offside on the play anyways. It would have given us another down though at least. That was a great throw.

Absolutely agree. When we dominated the CFL our defensive front 7 were ferocious. We intimidated other teams. Wev attacked, attacked, attacked. I remember our D swarming to the ball. And we had turnovers. Fumbles & interceptions. We were ball hawks. fast forward to today. Our D is passive. We had no pass rush. Arbuckle had all day to throw. Did we adjust? Nope. Just stayed in a 3 man front & dropped 9 all day. little or no blitzing. Never changed a thing in the second half. Just kept doing what didn't work in the first half. Being conservative playing not to lose. 

Offensively, it was a clusterfuck from the first snap on. Eli going offside was a portent of poor play to come. You can sure tell how fragile this team is. if things don't fo well in the first series or two we just fall to pieces. That's been our forte all season long. Our OL didn't play badly yet neither did they play great. We never established our run game. We kept trying to do something in the air that didn't work. We kept going deep too much. Instead, we needed to pound Brady but alas, Zach showed no patience. Instead of going on 10 play drives that eat the clock, we tried to score in one shot & it didn't work. That's on Buck Pierce. Just terrible play calling. 

Special Teams. Another clusterfuck at the return position & punter. I just want to thank Kyle Walters for keeping someone as useless as Jake Thomas & releasing Janarion Grant. That's some kinda great managing, Kyle. Congrats....

Now, we have an off season where we all know changes need to be made but this team is so slow to react. I'm not expecting much to happen.

For all the people shitting on punt team...Argos were actually way underwater on their punt return team tonight with a lot of tiny returns and a bunch of penalties.

We could have Jake Julien booming 60 yard punts with a 27 yard return average against to make us feel better though.

Lapo has succeeded as a play caller when he's had a head coach prodding him to be aggressive.  He's 1000% not the guy you want deciding to go for it or not, but he can design and call the plays just fine.  

Wouldn't say he has a "system."  Obviously everyone has tendencies but as someone designing an offense he is one of the best at matching scheme to talent he has.  

All time bad head coach though.
