Love the clear shoutout to all of us by @DTonOB

In terms of the returner, take Mccrae off and put a returner on. Boom, Rebus solved it.

Right up there with when Mitch Z. started calling Jabari Arthur "the Factor" on CJOB broadcasts lol...

When is Eli gonna get his shot.

Dude is in tremendous shape for.an oline mauler

I hope I don't jinx it but we've been really lucky with the health of our o-line the past few years, other than our centers keep taking a beating.  Long gone are the days of Matt Sheridan playing three downs and then grasping his quad and rolling on the ground lol....

How long is Grant expected to be out?

Parker splitting first team reps...in db drills he one of the more fluid easy moving guys

Rose with a pic on nice anticipation

Next to Lawler Agudosi is best pure catchers...quiet hands

Parker with nice pass breakup on a deep corner

I haven't even seen him today...may be getting treated

Hansen looks.like a caged animal prowling the sidelines...he gotta be close and looks pretty much back to normal

Had a quick chat with Bauming while i here as well

Garbutt definitely quick off the snap...and cuts and.moves fast...would love to see him in a game

Parker and McRae taking punts...Parker looks way more polished...u can see McRae has to stop..think...and consciously secure ball...Parker is set catch and go

Nice pass breakup by Parker on Schoen...guys diggin it...good sh!t Parker called out

And that's Jamal lol

Demski with a deep shot TD between Holm.amd.Ba....took it right away from both

Houston another knock down on deep.poat on Bailey..gotta say...dude is good when ball.on air

Lawler just plain good...nice corner fade for long gain on Nichols

Man if we have Parker and fox draw in that’d Be huge.
Even if gmc is healthy we should swap his spot for a real returner. He isn’t getting better with punts.
All 3 imp RBs we had in camp had return experience.

Parker looked so natural doing it...cause...well...he has done it before....for the bulk of the meat and potatoes part...It was just Mcrae and Parker doing it.....and Parker also on defence is so usefuland made a play every time he was targeted in practice,

And Garbutt looks legit...he's thick too...but athletic thick...looks like a baller....A lil bigger version of Haba in my opinion

Didn't see anyone other than Jackson doing FB duties...so my gut tells me he could be rostered, again....and we go with a lean Dline again...which truly sucks and if u ask me....dumb as I saw 2 guys (Garbutt and Fox) who could make major contributions with that defensive rotation...and if we sucked it up and actually used the Nationalized American rule...could really field a ferocious front

Interesting side note #1 was Walker talking up and teaching some young guys on the dline some responsibilities on certain sets, and what to watch for

#2 Biggie is truly a coach on the field...overhead and intently listened in when he came over to ask Hall about a certain set...I wont say which...and certain responsibilities in situation A, and situation B...And if it wouldn't be better to do something different...I won't get into detail here, but they hashed a few things out right there on the spot, and likely is going to be a lil tweak....

All in all a very upbeat high tempo practice...abd didnt see anyone of note hobbling...All the 6 gamers I saw (Clements/Haba/Hansen/Gauthier) were very active and look no worse for wear and gotta be close...Prob won't get pulled early as we can only do it 1 more time...but we will have a glut of health shortly if nobody gets dinged

Didnt see Miller or Grant anywhere.but from experience were either getting treatment...or doing things elsewhere away from prying eyes

Lots of guys with kickoff return experience, almost no one on our roster with punt return experience even in NCAA.  And that's the problem, receiving the punt.

Too bad they dropped Amare Jones already.

I'd give Houston a go and then Demski.

There's no limit on pulling guys off the 6 game, just the cap space it eats.

Problem that hasn’t been analyzed as fully in the whole “roster management” debate is that these moves aren’t made in a vacuum, and most every roster switch requires a counter measure. So if you pull Jackson for Fox as an example, we now have no fullback on the roster, since Miller is still hurt. So one possibility is that Jackson is used as the DA because of ratio rules and we need that Canadian  starter on the roster on offence. Or we make another counter measure like benching Bailey for O’Leary-Orange.

Now I don’t pretend to have the answers here, would be happy to  have others explain a scenario that works that keeps players at every position and factors in the ratio requirements. Easy to say we need another DL or that Jake Thomas should be sat, but it isn’t as simple as that with the Canadian ratio rules or the snap limit and eligibility years required for the DA. Fortunately the powers that be have found a way to manage it adequately enough to keep us winning a lot more than not.

Two random questions for those more in the know. First, I don’t see where Jamal Parker had any more significant college experience returning punts than McCrae (Parker had only 2 punt returns in his 4 year career in college, McCrae zero) but certainly had more experience as a kick returner (which McCrae also did, but in a more limited capacity). So the first question is: is there any significant difference in fielding punts vs kickoffs?  I’ve certainly seen specialists in each area, and some like Grant handle both jobs very well, but are there any factors that make one more technically difficult than the other?

Second question regarding fatigue and the need for rotational players. Are certain positions more prone to players getting gassed than others? If so, which ones and why? I have my ideas but want to hear from those in the know. Thanks in advance.

Leanest looking injury report I've ever seen. Also, Eugene Lewis limited for the LOLKs today...

Fors sure, all the Bombers starters are healthy but they do have some key players on the 6 game;

Miller, Lawrence, Hansen, Haba, Grant, Gauthier, Clements and Beeksma.

Burtenshaw is back...who could do it...Heck we have used Gray there, and we have had several games with no full back even listed. Jackson burning a DA spot at that position has no bearing, or is not caused by anything else ratio wise...We start 8 canadians...6 on offence..2 on defence....so if there is only 1 declared to be a defensive starting Canadian, which is whatwe have done....then Thomas can come out all game and be replaced by FOX...Haba...Gurbutt....and extra DB...hence why the burning of a DA on a FB is even more pointless all thigs considered.\

Also factor i if Osh would put aside his stubbornness of that new rule...which all teams but  us use, we would be even more well set up to really dominate and have fresh legs coming in and out .

Parker had 2 college returns, but was the in game back-up...so practiced it often I am told, and it is apparent watching the 2 guys field kicks...and fielding kicks vs a punt is like night and day and some guys just cant comfortably do it...and to risk things with a guy not comfortable at it...when 80 percent of punts are fielded inside your 20 yard line is playing with fire when there is no need too...especially when the guy better at it can do so much on defence, while the other is sure nice on offence....but not needed nearly as much...we have too many guys as it is to spread the ball around as it is, and why take away targets from Lawler...Schoen...Demski....not necessary

Dline is the spot that needs the most rotation, as you are playing a guessing game, in pursuit, and being reactive...O-line not so much as they are being the aggressor and know the play call and the responsibility...it's a huge difference
