Semi-Finals - Sunday, November 28th

It's Semi-Final Week.

Eastern Semi-Final - Montreal @ Hamilton - Sunday, November 28th, Noon (Central).

Long range weather: High of 1, feels like -3. Wind 16, gusting to 24.

Western Semi-Final - Calgary @ Saskatchewan - Sunday, November 28th, 3:30pm (Central)

Long ranger weather: High of 1, feels like -3. Wind 16, gusting to 24.  (Oddly, the same as Hamilton, even the wind)

Should be an exciting weekend.

  • **** them and **** Dickenson.  Honestly not sure which team I dislike more right now. I don't care who gets here from the "Someone Technically Has to Win Bowl". It will be satisfying to

Dickenson should have gone to Maier in the second half, feel like that move lets Calgary win.

I’m hardly the best at it, but I open google to search for what I want (in this case “football in the groin gif”) click on the images tab, right click and copy the image I want, then go to “insert image” and paste the URL link, and it usually works.

So, from a purely “best for the Bombers” scenario, who are our best to worst match-ups? And none of this “it doesn’t matter who we play” bravado, clearly some opponents are better than others.

I am hoping for Sask to win today since I think Calgary can exploit our secondary with a quick pass game more, and they have a better running back. But I think Calgary has the edge if I am betting on the game. In the East I will take Hamilton to win over Montreal, and I think we match up better against them than the Als and their running game. With Arbuckle gone the Argos are not as intimidating either. From most favourable to least favourable opponent I would say:

1. Riders

2. Argos

3. Ticats

4. Als

5. Stamps

But I could be convinced to swap Toronto and Hamilton’s positions.

I agree, Calgary and Montreal are our least favorable matchups, Saskabush is our most favorable matchup, Toronto/Hamilton are a coin toss. I'm hoping the Riders advance so that we can be the ones to end their season.

I'd rather play Calgary than Saskatchewan from the matchup pov but I also don't want the Riders to have a chance which technically they'd have if in the WF of going to the cup. In the East, doesn't matter.

Honestly I don't see much to choose between calgary or Saskatchewan.

As for the east, all those teams are basically interchangeable. Flip a coin for whon s best on any given day.

I think Sask pulls this one out with some horse shoe luck.

Fajardo is going to go into his old bag of tricks, try his patented spin move and have success.

He'll try it again next week then get absolutely blown up.

I think whoever wins today in the East will represent the East in the Cup, the same cannot be said for the West game

It really doesn't matter who we face next week. Neither is a better or worse match up for us. Both West Semi teams are garbage, IMO.

Bombers are dialed in...I don't think it will matter who comes here...

As for today...I see Mtl winning....and Cgy winning...Faj is brittle in the head...Cgy will exploit that linebacking corp and that secondary are scared to stick noses into a ball carrier...and in the cold will be even less likely...that sask online will have The Faj running for his life and forcing throws before receivers are open...I bet they will be hard pressed ro score one touchdown

Got some legit football weather in the Hammer. Rare for them. Pretty sloppy game so far... Lots of penalties aiding this Mtl drive.

Hamilton should have had two rough play calls on same play, low hit on QB and late takedown on the ball carrier well after whistle.

Killing themselves with undisciplined penalties, rough play and offsides.

Wynn's a good player but those are two stupid penalties so early in the game

He's a dummy.... Prime candidate to punch a guy at the bottom of a pile, or twist a knee or something greasy like that.

Hamilton looks flacid

As long as both games are entertaining, it wouldn't be upsetting at all to see both home teams get bounced today.

Long drive for the Als, Cats doing nothing, and the snow shouldn't effect the play at all

Yup ..be perfect close for both the home teams...punched outta playoffs on home turf

Especially sask about all the internal whining about all-star snubs...like really who on that team was snubbed? They lucky that marshal and Johnson got picked...cripes both Sayles and Stoves stats alone make Johnson look like dung..I sure there others in the west that do too
