I'm starting this thread as a side discussion of all things Corona Virus related. I understand that this is going to be discussed in almost all other topic threads but we could collect news and other items here. 

 

At work, many conferences have been cancelled.

NBA - Suspended.

NHL - About to be suspended. 

NCAA March Madness - Playing - no crowd. 

 

Political Rallies have been cancelled. 

Travel bans. 

 

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks tested positive. They're in Australia where testing is available. If they were in the US, they wouldn't have been tested. 

Yeah Chiros don't heal anything. They can make things feel better, but they don't solve issues.

Not to take this too far off topic, but I developed a lower back issue from too much sitting and marking at my computer. Seeing Dr. Partridge at Spectrum Health for a tune up a couple times a year, coupled with a stretching program he put me on, does the trick.

We also need to ramp up and be part of some coalition to help vaccine the poorest countries... I mean check this map:

Until we get the world taken care of... there are going to be constant threats of new variants and immense loss of life.

I’m having a very hard time disagreeing with this. 

I have a feeling that the Chinese vacancies are going to be the ones that will the most widely used ones in places like Africa.

Little weirded out that MB is going ahead with the mix and match plan for AZ without waiting for the results of the study. Lots of comments in that article about allowing the population to make an "informed decision" while also throwing in a lot of ifs and buts.

It all depends if you value the results of the UK study over the results of the Spanish study that they are using to inform this decision.  I get a little bit of a "yeah, that's good enough" vibe from it myself.

It does seem odd. I'm going get one of each for a vaccine cocktail. 

My wife and I have made it clear that we will accept only the Pfizer second dose.

Also surprised. Granted AZ wont be given to anyone as a first shot anymore and the UK study seemed to indicate you're likely to feel off.

Now where is the study about what happens if youre given 2 shots of Pfi, 2 shots of Moderna,. 2 shots of AZ and 1 shot of J&J

I got AZ going to wait at least to 8 week point then get which ever I can first.

Not 12? That's the advice for AZ.

In everything I read today that should wait till 8-12 weeks to get a second dose.

which is a shame cause the chinese one is pretty underwhelming compared to the other.
