its that even allowed?

No   Unless they've changed rule 6 section 4 article 4

Article 4 — Designated Quarterback

Prior to the game, a team is required to designate three players who shall be permitted to alternate for each other during the game at the Quarterback position exclusively. Not more than one such player may be in the game at any time and none of the three can enter the game as a member of Team B.

With small rosters & injuries they have this rule? If a backup qb can play RB then he should be allowed. But that would be too logical.

It's so they can't dress another player as 3rd QB and use him elsewhere.  Makes a lot of sense.  Otherwise the Bombers could dress McCallister, play him at DE and insist he's the 3rd QB.

Alright just to play devil's advocate here... couldn't they get around this rule by just listing Streveler at another position? List him at RB, then have him take snaps (no different than a direct snap to Harris, which sometimes is run)?

Yeah but how would that benefit the Bombers?  That means they have to sit another import.

I don't get why they didn't put Santiago on, take K.Jones off and then add D.Wright for Harris instead of Malcolm Williams. Gives you another running back and a NI to contribute on teams. Still allows you to use a DI on a DB and DE.

I know, no sense trying to fool anybody, Bombers win this game on the run or they don't win at all.  The more running weapons they can throw at the Riders the better.

I don't know that that's necessarily true.... I've been a vocal critic of Streveler as a passer but last year vs Mtl, he lit em up through the air. He CAN do it and we've got guys that can get open if there's a lot of man coverage...

Anybody know if the Bombers still stay at the SPA in Moose Jaw...or in Regina?

Milt was on the radio in SK yesterday talking about the days the Bombers stayed in Regina and some stupid Rider fans woke up Milt and Khari at 3 a.m. and they never got back to sleep and the Bombers got blown out so coach Ritchie said "No more of that. We're going to Moose Jaw from now on."
