Probably did not want to go on PR when Roh was put on 46 man roster.

Wish we had more spots for these guys. He was an immediate impact, causing Rios’ pick six. Was so fun seeing him proudly say “I was sitting on my couch three days ago”, I thought he’d get to stick around and be a Bomber. 

What did McCallister think he was in for?  You gotta pay your dues to get ahead of the likes of Jeffcoat, Jefferson and Roh.

He probably thought that if he performed at a top level he would be elevated or maybe that the injuries would give him a couple games of opportunity. 

My guess is McCallister got an offer from another team and the Bombers let him go not having the roster spot on the 44 to keep him.

He was only here because of injuries. End of story. Not sure why anyone would be surprised by this.

Can't see why they wouldn't offer him a PR spot and he wouldn't be happy to accept it, beats sitting on the couch back home.  Put him in the bank for next season in case an opportunity arises, Jefferson is on a one year deal and I think Jeffcoat and Roh have another year left on their contracts but any of them could try the NFL if there was an opportunity.  **** happens.

Jeffcoat extended this offseason I believe.

Jeffcoat is signed for next year.

McCallister was released last week. Who knows if he even offered a PR spot but the practice roster is full. If they wanted to keep him they could have juggled things around however. Anderson could have been rostered as a 3rd QB or Santiago could have been put on the injury list. But those moves would have cost more salary.

I'll text into the Coach's Show to see if McCallister was even offered a PR spot.

considering they offered him one out of training camp and he declined and that he came back when injuries hit I would suspect that they did in fact offer him a spot and he wants no part of a PR.

Injury must be somewhat serious...or staff realized they good with Johnny..and know we have Oliviera as well at some point this year...when all healthy i wouldn't mind seeing sets with Johnny in backfield and Harris doing the hybrid RB/Slot thing..

He was released Aug30 which showed up “Delete from Active”

Then today, “Added To”

No, he was released about a week ago, this transaction was today.  They could certainly improve their designations to make it less confusing.

Added to "Free Agent"

Yeah, if that is added to the PR they make it a puzzle.

They stopped using the Practice Roster on the roster page,  im not sure why.
