For minor off-season Bomber news.  Any significant stories or news that are likely to generate significant discussion may have their own thread created.

Going to try going with the two threads again for the off season.    One for Bomber news, one for CFL news.   These threads should be used for general / minor day to day news, tweets, etc.  A catch all for tidbits that people want to share to keep everyone up to date on the goings and comings of the league.

Any news, tweets, and signings that is likely to generate significant discussion may have their own threads created.

I don’t think we necessarily need a free agent WIL, but there’s a lot of second-tier free agents that would fit good here at DT and WIL.

could sign someone...I think if we sign Ackie he slots in at sam...possibly will...and we still start a canadian safety from in house

Ackie is not an effective SAM. Alexander, Fenner ir Gaitor will be SAM, no doubt. 

Ackie has safety experience too. He’d be one of the better fits for the multiple D Hall runs.

What the heck happened to Loffler....did he fall off the map.......I guess his demands were his undoing and nobody will bite....Too bad..I really liked the guy when he broke in and now it looks like he's now a tier 2 player

I wouldn't be shocked to see them use a Canadian  at DT.

My preference is Ackie at WIL and Stephens/Jones at S or maybe Field Corner

Then see if our 1st rounder can rotate with Thomas as well

Derek Jones, or a possible fa signing, at safety. Maybe Loffler, if he's getting a dose of realism in his salary demands today.

Hope it's a FA or Loffler. Jones and Hecht don't impress me at all. Big time drop from Loffler IMO.

Honestly, if we're stuck with Richie Hall... this is a best case scenario...  Jefferson, Jeffcoat and Biggie are exactly what a Hall D thrives on...  if Kyrie Wilson is half-decent, he'll have a massive year with tackles - cleaning up after the chaos those three create

Takes a lot of pressure off the S position for sure...  I see where Walters is coming from - just want Ackie now ha

Curious. Besides a couple of big hits 3 years ago.. What makes Loffler so impressive? His ability to miss tackles or his ability to ?? What cuz outside of his rookie season, he has regressed. 

Happy about both the Jefferson and Demski signings.

I think I might be the only person on the planet that really likes Derek Jones and thinks he could start no problem...

Leggett has exactly ZERO game left. 

Leggett more suited for safety perhaps? That's usually where DB's go to die. Wouldn't mind trying him out there for the right price.
