Okay, so the off season officially begins now that the Grey Cup is over. Lots of topics for discussion in the months to come with the Bombers & the League. A new CBA needs to be negotiated sooner rather than later.  Will there be an eventual agreement or a lockout? How much will the salary cap go up? Randy Ambrosie is on record that wants the cap to significantly go up so that is a positive.  Will Bo Levi Mitchell sign with an NFL or perhaps another CFL team? What about Mike Reilly & Trevor Harris who are also free agents? There's a new start up league called the  AAFL & there are legit concerns that it'll draw star CFL players away or hamper free agent signings with CFL teams. Coaching changes in BC & Toronto. The continuing evolving story of the expansion Halifax Schooners & possible exhibition games in Mexico.

I'm curious, now that Reilly is all but sold to BC, if Edm takes the big $$$ offer they'd planned for him and goes all in on BLM. Would be easier to move a couple hours north on the QE2 than all the way out to TO...

I really think think BLM ends up in TO - the league will 'help' with some magical salary structure so in 'actuality' he ends up with $900k or something crazy...

I mean, Edmonton missed the playoffs with Reilly last year.  Having him on the roster doesn’t guruantee a thing.

they've been terrible for years....both Edm and BC QBs have been taking a beating seemingly forever.

It does make me wonder if Jennings would have developed better if he wasn't running for his life so often.

most likely...he got into the self preservation habit of ducking and chucking...not setting himself properly, or going through reads like he should have...so lots of errant throws prior to routes developing, and lots of bad timed pick's...

it's POSSIBLE, but I really don't think he's a smart enough QB to figure it out. He's a run-first QB anyhow, so maybe that situation was the best one possible for him. With a quality OL, he could sit in the pocket and not do much of anything anyhow...

If you ever wanted to know if tampering was alive and well, just look at all the signings the day or two before free agency opens.  The agents know exactly what each player is going to get offered when the gun goes off.

So Reilly to sign a 4 year $700k a year deal with BC. I guess it isnt tampering if they allowed him to talk?
