I dunno, if we can't score TDs we're going to need those 57 yard field goals and punts inside the 10 yard line. I don't know how much he gets paid but he's worthy every penny.

Sad, he was a great player in his day and obviously worked his ass off to play football again but he clearly wasn’t the same after his injury. Thanks for a great career for the blue and gold!

Ouch that is a lot of guys to sign up ...   I'm hoping they can retain most of that o-line

Ow. I know all teams have a similar list but that's a lot of people to sign.

OL, Biggie and JSK are key signings for me. Lock them up and work from there.

I think a piece or two will probably be gone.... but I would have to think the plan is to start Gray next season!

Sounds like Dressler is interested in another year if they want him, can't see O'Shea saying no.  Same goes for Medlock.

I'd actually say no to medlock. I doubt he wants to take a cut, and honestly he is just too expensive. You don't need to pay a kicker that much. Hell, maybe Lankford trys out next year as a kicker lololololol

I say no to dressler. Not worth the money and we need to shift that money to a proven free agent receiver who can stretch the field.

The scary thing is without him our record (IIRC) has been putrid

Take this for whatever its worth.  I heard on radio here that Medlock definitely wants to stay with Bombers

Just this past season (0-4), so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

In 2017, the Bombers were undefeated without him in the lineup (4-0). In 2016, they were also undefeated without him in the lineup (3-0).

bye week in 2016

I know for certain he wants to stay in Winnipeg...and if he comes back for same money...have no issue with it....he's worth it, especially if we can flip our ratio to allow us to have another skill position guy on the roster for returns...be it a receiver...or a guy who can play DB.

On the fence with Dressler...If we can land a big time number one to go with Adams and Woli...then I actually wouldn't mind seeing Dressler back in same role, but wouldn't pay more than what Demski got last year for him, and you start Simonese on the boundary...truly believe he will bust out next year like Woli did this year.

We do what we gotta do to try and lock down Biggie...also JSK wants to resign here, so that should be a slam dunk...and whispers I hear is that Goose/Chungh and Bryant are all but a formality once the dust settles with the CBA

We just need to focus on the Jeffcoat situation and get him locked in...and if it is ath the expense of Opo...thats the price of business, tho I know the staff love Opo here..will be inter sting to see where our main targets are with our own guys

We don't have a replacement in place for Medlock.....

Plus I think he is a positive for this team...

I agree that as good as Medlock was and is, he is aging and handsomely paid but aging. We do need to start grooming a replacement, preferably a home-grown.

Medlock has really improved his punting.....in terms of average, net, and placement and made 90% of his FG's.   He can also mentor a younger guy.   Just sign him, already

sign dressler and someone better. guy was still our top threat at receiver so losing him doesn't upgrade us at all

It was supposed to be Bowman. 😥

I just don't get the idea that Dressler isn't worth the money... he was our best receiver all season long and Nichols clearly looks to him when he needs a play. How is that not worth the money?

Is Dressler a good player?  Sure, but he's also playing the most important slot position.  And regardless of whether he was injured this year he didn't even get close to reaching the 1000 yard mark (being durable is a good thing).  Wolitarsky actually had more yards than him this year playing a ton of his time as the last read.  We had 1 receiver in the top 20 this year.  So it's either Nichols really is that bad or our American receivers still need to be upgraded.

I don't think age ends a kickers career as quick as other positions out there.

Nichols should have looked his way a couple more times Sunday...

Think Bighill is fine not playing in BC and here until his kids starts school. Then I could see him wanting to play back in BC.
