Training Camp is over, the roster has been set, and the biggest Q is who should MOS start at QB.

The Bomber Brass are comparing notes on that and have yet to decide so its not clear cut by any means. The default is Ross by a nose but we could have 3 legit thoroughbreds in our stable all at once.

I personally believe Steveler has the most upside based on pure talent, scrambling pizzazz, and the ability to see the whole field. He is also the most likely to turn the ball over and make gigantically good plays. Ross will protect the ball best and run the short game well.

Ross may have played the most regular season downs but Bennett has the most experience especially in the Bomber system. I can see us saying later in the year "why didn't we start using Bennett earlier?" He is my pick for short yardage QB but I would be happy with Steveler in that role too.  My best guess: Ross starts but Steveler comes in as soon as Ross has two or three bad series in a row.

I think the rule is that if Riders had plucked him off Bombers PR they'd have had to place him on their active roster. Looks like a move designed to get some inside poop on our Blue before we thrash them in the playoffs.

He can tell them what's coming but they still won't be able to do anything to prevent it! 

i was gonna say I bet that happens...but then wanted to give the Riders (Jones) the benefit of the doubt of being a scuz bag organization...guess this proves it..Adding him does nothing for them as he has to stay on PR...and will be a free agent once the season comes about as do all PR guys..so whats the point other than their internal fear that they know they are the inferior team...typical..

Bombers should just pluck somebody from their practise roster now.......

I really don’t think it was Jones’ fault. Poop was just dumped on his lawn..

The Bombers did Poop a solid because if he was active after the trade deadline he’d be ineligible to play.  Easily could have activated him this week with the guys sitting out.

So Poop leaves the Bombers PR to sit on the Riders PR for a short playoff run with no opportunity to play and no guarantee that he'll even be invited to T.C. next season.  I wonder how much extra they paid him to betray the confidence of his former teammates, nothing like winning with class, eh Jonesie?

Technically they can't pay him extra. He's on the practice roster.

That said, the 100% most truthful coach in the league (Jones) probably did something else that they won't admit (or will get busted for down the road.

Don't think so, they can pay a P.R. player whatever they see fit above the minimum.

You're right, but there's no benefit to that, because if they do it they have to treat them like a regular player according to the CBA.
