Bombers at Shmoes GDT

Let's see if we can carry our dominance over from last week. Edmonton has gotten some weapons back since we played them last, I expect a close game.

I thought Maas was relatively calm this game. The only thing I thought was he looked like he was gonna cry after randle broke up that 3rd down pass to seal the game. I seen a few teary eyes in my day,

  • It's hard to ignore the difference JSK has had on this defence. Another 10 tackles tonight.

Hit Reilly less need to cover.

Ditto. This one's going to go down to the wire, IMO.

Our D is what has me a little worried. We give up over 5 yards per carry... and while Travon Van is nothing spectacular, once you throw in Reilly's elusiveness you have a recipe for long exhausting drives and big gains. I'm hoping we simply outpace their scoring and never let up til we're taking a victory knee.

Chasing him is just as good, he loses accuracy on those 50/50 throws when he's on the run.

Reilly and the fact that Edmonton has lost a number of games in a row has me also worried. They are to good a team to continue the losing streak. I really worry about our weak Defence as a whole. We have not gotten a good pass rush for a number of weeks. If we give Reilly all that time he will kill us.

The Esks are really going to be in tough against the 9-3 Winnipeg Blue Bombers. It's going to take a huge effort from Reilly and company to squeak out a W especially with that line backing/secondary core.

Rider fans find themselves having to cheer for the Bombers tonight.

I always cheer for the Bombers when we aren't playing. Today is extra special as we are in third now and I would like to see us stay there. I'm wanting a playoff game against you guys. Esks have lost 5 straight and are at home. Going to be a tough road game. Guess we'll see what your team is made of today. Win and stay in the chase with the stamps, lose and start looking over your shoulder.

Might want a comma after Reilly.  I assume you want us to hit Reilly, not hit Reilly less, and have a need to cover.  :D

Are the depth charts up?  Did wolitarsky end up as 6th Rec?

Those guys are fools. They still arent convinced we are a good team. Apparently we just haveny had to deal with injuries this year... thats why we are 2nd.

Ill say this... even if we beat edmonton tonight... they will still fi ish ahead of the riders. Riders will have to beat bc for the crossover

I'm hoping hoping hoping, it's the Riders and K.G. who show up in Wpg. for the West Semi-Final on a cold Nov. afternoon to experience a severe smack down at IGF.

It's going to feel so damn good.

Agreed that Edmonton’s receivers are stronger this time around, but our secondary has improved tenfold since the announcement that the Roc is done for the season!

Edmonton has lost 5 in a row for a reason... They arent that good.

Uh, the Riders are still 4th because the Eskimos haven't played yet this week. (https://www.cfl.ca/standings/)

And we already know what the Bombers are made of: a team capable of easily beating a third string QB.

If they don't turn the ball over take it away a couple times. Limit penalties Bombers win.

I really feel the key is to score one more point than Edmonton some how

that's easy, the Eskimos just need to sign Quincy McDuffie and put him in the end zone to return punts in the last five minutes of the game.   Magic.

Santos-Knox will be the difference maker on D

denmark will catch winning TD

bombers win 29-27

The last game vs Edmonton, the Bombers had ZERO two-and-outs. It was the only game this year that this has happened. ( according to Terry Jones)

Ah porter draws in - so foketi and him should sit?

poop and Nevis in the middle?

The depth chart has jake starting at DT again, also only has us with 5 wrs.  JFG, adams, denny, lankford, and coates. Obviously flanders / harris will move in and around slot spots. But man i dont like that lack of depth at wr. Football gods help us if a wr goes down. Or harris.

The depth chart has us carrying 8 ol, so im sure foketi will be one of the 2 scratches.
