Regular Season - Bomber News, Developments & Speculation

I think we have finally got it together:

QBing is more than adequate and we have double bench strength ... no QB plays 21 games injury free .... most are good doing 16 games healthy

Running Backs - as good as we have had since superstar Charles Roberts

Receivers - good enough if not slightly better than average ... steady not brilliant

Blocking back /tight end / Canadian receiver - unnoticeable but ok

O-Line - the best I can remember ands THAT IS EVERYTHING

Defensive backs - upgraded from last year ... ball hawks

Linebackers - outside fits in with our DBs real nice but we don't scare anyone with our RUN defense .... its our first major problem to solve

DLine - I am expecting a genuine pass rush & real pressure compared to last year ... I don't have a clue about their skill as run stoppers

Special teams - Medlock says it all on the kicking side; returning is a notch down from last year but still OK .... our nemesis is undue penalties away from the play

Coaching - MOS has everyone's respect and that counts for huge ... still has stubborn streak blind spots that will cost us but hopefully not at the worst possible times .... losing Wylie hurts but lets hope his legacy will carry the day

Coordinators - Conservative by choice ... we may finally have the talent to fit that .... we are the turnover ratio experts and that should be better not worse this year

  • Love TE82.  For a number of years, he was the only bright light in the Bomber offence. No matter what dud we trotted out behind center, Edwards was gonna make his plays. Imagine the numbers he would h

going to be a little wierd for me being a cleveland brown fan this season.

Isn't it always weird being a Browns fan?

It was not in  Jim Brown's time.

Which I was around for.

body looks like a pro WR. Deceptively good speed but looks reliable with excellent hands.

gotta figure with this kid and Blaszko that Richards days in Blue and Gold may be coming to an end. We've certainly replaced the size he brought

the best news of all this is that it cost us essentially nothing. We had 2 third rounders, and gave one up to get the guy. Protecting ourselves vs Poblah-ish situations that cost us a 1st....

Big fella. Wonder how long before he's in the lineup?

3rd round is stupid value, stupid good.  Julian Lynch was a 2nd round pick this year.  None of the receivers taken in this years draft have anything near the production of Wolitarsky at the level he played at, NCAA power 5 conference Big 10.  I'd bet if he went in this past draft class he'd be a 1st or early 2nd rounder.

So he is more a tight end than a slotback type receiver from what i saw in the video .... no idea about his speed

Ran a 4.68 at his pro day.  Not blazing speed but pretty typical for a Canadian receiver in the CFL.

He'll be playing the X position

Won't be worried about cold and snow.

 he looks good!

Looked like he played X and slot, they used a lot of bunch formations though.  Much different style of offence than CFL.

I am afraid of this pick due to Poblah, Richards etc. Have to say it.
