I like the idea of what a 2nd Westerman would do for our D_line for years to come. Getting Venerable could mean a road to the Grey Cup so I would break the bank with whatever we have left and spend it on those two.

I wonder if the Bombers will bring Michael Ritchott in training camp this year. He's the Winnipeg Rifles RB, who people says plays and run like Andrew Harris. He will come as a territorial exempt and a non-counter for sure. 

 

Not a bad look at the roster, but let's be realistic. There's going to be at least three guys, whether it be recruits from down south or through the draft, that are on the team week 1.

agree and there would be surprised releases and possibly trades. 

thats why i said "if i put a 44-man roster today"

Have to say I'm not 'overwhelmed' by that receiving core...  decent talent though - Denmark should be in over Smith

Be surprised if Johnson isn't upgraded... and still think Randle could be our surprise vet cut in TC

Sure would be nice to pencil in Simonise as our starting NI or replace Hardrick with a National

Why do people just give Ryan Smith a defacto lock to make this team?  if anything he's the one who should be on the bubble, not Denmark.

So long as we have real good competition at training camp, whoever wins out be good. From the looks of things, we ought to have a darned good receiving corps.

Did we sign Simonise? Please explain why you don't like Hardrick as he was one of our best offensive linemen last year. You really want a Canadian in there who wouldn't play as well, which he wouldn't? Think back to the seasons prior to last year & remember the disaster our line was before Hardrick & Bond showed up. The days of 3 or 4 starting Canadians on the offensive line are over because they. just. aren't. good. enough.

At 170 lbs he is too small to play in the CFL

He was listed at 185 last season.

Apologies if I've been living under a rock, but based on that listing, I presume the Big Blue finally parted ways with Patrick Neufeld? Or is the 44-man roster listing just likely potential starters (in which case I can't blame you for not including him - I think I attended more games than him last year and I only went to the home ones).

Very minimal turnover from last year. Not a lot holes as you would think but if we could get an upgrade here in there, this team looks good. Of course, I didn't put the new guys. 

 

Dont expect davis to take no2. Dont expect flanders to DI back up either. We saw how little he is used in that situation. Smith and stafford over denmark? SMH. Smith and knox are going to battle for the starting MLB spot, but the loser will be on for teams atleast.

I do. I think he'll be given every opportunity to show what he's got if the opportunity presents itself (injury or blow out) if he doesn't show well after a while then I expect Lefevour to assume #2 but until then, it's his job to lose.

SmH i thought this site is more tame than the riders. Smh, i dont say thats the official roster. Smh you can put your ownnlineup no one is stopping you. SMh.
