  1. Completely agree with this. We needed a change of pace with the offence, needed to put in Marve and change things up. Willy had a bad game, he admitted it on the radio last night, and he needed to take a seat. I get that it might have been tough on his confidence to do that, but how hard was it on him to get pounded into the turf over and over again??
  2. Brohm is the same type of quarterback as Willy, except Willy throws with more authority. Marve on the other hand brings a completely different dimension, and, IMO should be the one we hang onto. I haven't seen Portis yet, hopefully see him before the end of the season.
  3. Cotton played behind an oline like we had the first games of the year where Grigsby ran for 120 yards. In last week's game where Cotton played behind the same line Grigsby had been he did just as little. Cotton did have a very good game but surely you will admit the line was totally different than it had been since the beginning of September. It takes two to tango!
  4. I liked what I saw out of Daniels. Goosen I think will be okay, just having 3 Canucks there changed the defence for the better as well. Everything changed with the mobility of Marve, and that I think made the line and Cotton look better. That being said the big boys did open up some sweet holes for Cotton to run through, was really nice to see.
  5. I was very impressed with Marve last night. Suddenly I wasn't so cold!! I think Marve brings a completely different dimension to the backfield, we actually have a qb who can run. He's a keeper for sure.....
  6. I'm expecting to see the other young qb's play today as well. If Brohm is good then great, but if he struggles I want to see what else we have.
  7. Until we upgrade the o'line, the d'line and the two coordinators ( OC and DC ) this is just going to continue. What happened to Dan Knapp?? That hitch pass we throw over and over again for no yards......why???
  8. Teague is a good kid, but he's not fast enough, and he's seriously struggling with his tackling. Last night was a prime example of that, he was brutal.
  9. IMO this comes down to the size of our linebackers ( too small and light ), the weakness of our Canadian talent on defense, and our injuries. Wild has missed a bunch of games now, and we just haven't been the same. Looks like Kuale is done for a while, that look on his face last night after he was hurt said it all....We have to get bigger in the line backers for sure, there's no getting around that.
  10. Totally agree with this. Second and 2 is time to smash the ball forward, nothing else! Glad I didn't have anything in my hand, might be looking for a new TV!
