Disagree completley. Nichols engineered scoring drives and also had at least 5 drops yesterday from his receivers. No idea where your getting 3 dropped interceptions from. He's thrown 1 interception this season. Is that luck too? 
I've never seen a  fan base with so many people calling for the head of  a 6-0 QB with a 71% completion, 7 to 1 TD to int ratio.. It's baffling. Absolutely incredible. 

Ya, no. If he made faster decisions and helped relieve the pressure himself that wouldn't have been the case. The biggest misunderstanding I find occurs here is people think our offensive line did this magical 180 when Nichols went in. Not so. Our new starter simply makes fast reads and dumps the ball away when there's pressure. 
He also takes a lot of hits but stands in the pocket and gets the ball out. Happened several times yesterday. Willy did himself no favours and is absolutely as much to blame for him getting knocked around as our line. 
That's the truth. He wasn't a golden boy 400k bonafide star qb so many of us do desperately wanted to believe he was. He was a mistake. To the credit of MOS he was able to identify it and move on in time to save his job and our season. I'm now firmly in support of O'Shea and will eat crow on him being a good coach at this point. 

this would be a nice game to see Nichols throw for 3 TD's and hopefully silence the critics.

this game is literally equal importance to me as winning the Grey Cup. Just this one. I'm sick and tired of losing LDC and I want the last one at that crap hole they call a stadium.

How can you not care? lol? Guess what, if the Bombers go back into the tank people are going to be extra pissed off from being given a taste of decent football.
Do I think this is real as in, we will run the table and only lose 3-4 games rest of the season? Prob not. But I think we have a decent shot at the playoffs now and that's exciting. I don't want to that go back into the toilet.
I would say I'm 70% convinced we will make the playoffs, just on the strength of our D alone.
I'm only 30% convinced we can have any hope of hosting a home playoff game. For this to be the case a lot of stuff has to go our way. But hell if we host a playoff game I'll make the trip for that.
 

Labour day has been a nightmare in Regina for basically my entire life. It'd be so cathartic for this team and us fans to go into Regina and trash the place.

The irony of this post is so far off the charts its ridiculous. When people were critical of Willy earlier in the year it was the total opposite. It's not 1 player, etc etc. 

Nichols was 17-28 for 246 yards..not player of the week stats, but what isn't shown in the stats, that was emphasized especially on one drive, is when Nichols stood in the pocket and delivered a strike, without happy feet, when blocking was breaking down. That drive led to a TD and broke Toronto's will. I thought right there that it wasn't a play that Willy would have completed...result? ...end drive...no TD...closer game.
It's the little things that Nichols has done, (quick releases, quick reads, good fakes ie. the long Denmark TD, and the nice touch passes on th long throws) that has taken his 'average play' and pushed it enough to guide the Bombers to wins.
Real nice to witness that our backup QB can come in when needed and get the job done. That hasn't happened in a long time.
