Hunt would just retire, the guy is set for life really.. Has no need to come back to the CFL... and i doubt he'd be the same player he was anyway. Put it this way, if the team apparently doesn't see a spot for Hall, where the heck would hunt fit?
 
I don't like what O'shea said here.. The only real question to be asking instead of who does he replace is.. Does he make the team better and the answer to that is YES YES YES he does. 

I too hate having players among the best at their position in the team. Bring back Tim Burke so we can suck again. 

The truth might be that we don't currently have a good RB on the roster.

Perhaps you haven't noticed him since he isn't chirping at the refs and taking a penalty.

I love how people see Cotton carry once a game and decide his level of ability based upon that.

First non Thursday game this year helps too. Glad the Thursday games are done for this season.

There was a point in time when I thought that we were set for a few years with Greg Carr and especially TJH. I thought TJH was going to be a star.

No you weren't. Skalbania did own the Lions briefly.
 
I felt kind of sorry for Johnson. Coming to the CFL must have caused quite an identity crisis for him since all CFL players at that time wore white shoes. 
 
   
I disagree. He saved the Lions after Skalbania's time there and he saved the Argos as well. He's pretty much responsible for Hamilton getting a new stadium from his position on the Pan-Am Games committee. He's done much more to help than hurt the League.

Those are two good points. We've had a plethora of import running backs come through our system this year though. There's no doubt they'll keep looking. 
 
The lack of a decent import receiver, linebacker and tackle is what really bothers me.

If Moore, Kelly or Denmark is ever hurt I'd start three Canadian receivers. JFG, Kohlert and Watson are all better than any of the other imports we have hanging around(yeah I'm looking at you Romby).

He's been in a state of depression since we cut Goltz.

Hope that never happens because you could literally call holding on 75-80% of all plays.  Talk about killing the flow of a game!

You don't do it on the sidelines during the game. Have you guys not ripped Austin for 3 weeks about that.

I think the short time between games and the fact that Toronto had the extra week off was a massive factor in why we simply looked tired and beaten up tonight. 

I don't see what could possibly go wrong with giving Jarvis Jones a start at tackle. If he's somehow worse than Howard he doesn't deserve to be employed.
 
Does anyone think that we should give Neufeld a shot at tackle? I thought his play in the pre season was superior to anything we've gotten out of Knapp and Howard thus far.

Interesting that they refuse to play Tanner Marsh.

I'll say it again, why oh why did we have to move to the west? 

I would much rather play against Brink than Smith. I highly doubt Brink makes it past this game in Sask, but I'd love for Montreal to come rolling in here with Brink at the helm.
 
Montreal is seriously the Bombers of last year. How many weeks do we give it until Jeff Garcia is starting? 

The tends to hesitate before attacking the line is the thing that bugs me most about him. If he'd just hit the line with speed he might break free more often.
