Because we need a QB that can start MOST of the games next season and not one who's going to break after one game. Especially one that tears as easily as he does. Tate should NOT be an option.

Um, so far its only Crowton, Garber and Mack who have lost their jobs... but they all sucked. Cutting Hef - that was ridiculous... aside from that, who has really been turfed because of Burke? well all of these coaches are going to lose their jobs too, lots of players, hell Joey Elliott might be a starting qb if not for Burkes dislike of him, he's certainly still better than what we're using now. You could likely even throw Buchko in there too because if this season doesn't turn to **** like it did he likely doesn't get fired either. Are you really going to pretend that is true? We don't have to pretend.

What's not to think through? MB becomes interim HC until the end of the season. Bump his pay a bit and know he is gone to Ottawa. Tell him not to throw players under the bus in press conferences. Burke is going to end more than his own carreer if he shows that little faith in his offence and tosses good defensive players under the bus. He is doing more harm than good by being kept around. Yeah, I get that he isn't going to quite (and I don't blame him) but he is not adding anything these days. You really think MB wants to take on HC as well as OC duties? And do you really think, at this point, he's going to make that much of a difference? Bumping up his pay would just mean that they'd be now not only be paying for Burke's position, but whatever they bump MB's pay up to as well. And, as others have stated, we'd lose our only decent Defensive coach.

I still think Walters need to be AGM for a couple more years. We need to do a search for a GM, the it should have already been started. I agree. I'm not totally sold on the guy either. Not a chance. Season ticket sales would go south like geese in Autumn. Kelly is available for both the HC and GM positions but he doesn't stand a chance of even being interviewed. And, IMO, rightly so.

Umm...NO! You don't even know Willy's potential and you want to trade one of our best defensive players for him? Are you out of your mind? Plus, why would you want any QB right now? Not only is the season over for us, you'd be launching him into a suicide mission with our Oline and potentially getting him hurt. Getting someone good right now is just wasting time unless he's somehow on the open market and all the other GM's just happened to have missed him. Best to just wait till the offseason, see who our new HC and GM will be (if any changes are made) and start fresh.

I think he's an exceptional athlete for a NI just not a great starting MLB. Dude, the more I read your posts, the more I think you're just a troll.
