Not saying in this case but there are a lot of sports franchises that are very successful working under very tight budgets.

To be fair, if Khari surrounded himself with a proper staff then he could be quite successful here.

At this point Ricky Ray is in this groove because of the talent around him. Probably the most talent around him since he had Tucker and Hervey.

We used to have the best red zone efficiency and now it's hit or miss. Our game plans could have had Hall get us to the red zone and then have Goltz take us in.
This is the practice we used to employ, with great TD success, but Burke has abandoned common sense for a common grudge.
 
And obviously, Boltus cannot run the short yardage. It happens. Some QBs just can't. Think K Glenn.
But Burke's refusal to use Goltz is going to be part of his downfall.
It just doesn't make sense.

Hall is doing fine. How anyone can complain about the way he is playing? He's making less & less mistakes as well as learning the CFL game & adapting to it. Look at how Max has progressed with far less tools on offense than Thomas DeMarco has in BC. Is  he a long term starter for the Bombers? Can't say but give the guy props especially for the last 2 games. Saying Hall is dreadful isn't anywhere close to being correct. If Brandon thinks Hall is dreadful then I can describe Justin Goltz as being absolutely abysmal as a starting qb.

Hall will make an excellent back up quarterback.

Collaros does not sign with us if he knows Burris will be here. He might as well stay in Toronto if that's the case.

Easy to say that, but when you look around the league it's just not the case.  Hamilton has an above average OL, are Brian Simmons and Marc Dile dominant?  Not so sure.  Toronto has Tony Washington, he's good but not dominant.  BC has a couple big names, but has either carried their weight this year?  Not to the point of being called dominant.
 
Stanley Bryant in Calgary and Xavier Fulton in Saskatchewan are possibly the best examples of great import tackles, but that's still just 2 tackles out of 10-15 starting import T's in the league.  It's easy to SAY it, but not so easy to actually accomplish it.

Someone please tell me why Goltz isn't doing QB sneaks?
