I'd like to explore some more, this idea of drunken media louts ....

Regardless of how you look at this, we got a brand new stadium that will last for 40 50 years plus for 210 million.
 
Hockey arenas cost more, Regina Stadium will be more.
 
210 million is good value really.
 
Im actually amazed that it was built for so little to be honest.
 
I'll take this stadium over the one in Ottawa and Hamilton that's for sure.
 
I understand some people will complain cuz that's what they do but... 210 million for something that will be around for 50 years plus.. No issues here.
 
Honestly, our tax dollars go towards lots of really ridiculous things that none of us have any use for.
 
I'm not going to mention one thing that i think is a huge waste of tax payer money because that will open up a can of worms I'm sure.

Well if Selinger thinks investorsStadium is going to be his legacy he better think again. If it was a Toyota they would be recalling it. With Lyle Bauer being named CEO of the MB PC party it will be interesting to see how much fuss the PCs make about the NDP money pit.

Miller knows Friesen only wants in to write a doom and gloom piece, I applaud him for telling Friesen to piss off. The media in Winnipeg needs to be taken in hand and controlled better. The sooner hacks like Friesen get cut off from the source the sooner they lose what credibility they had with the fans.

Oh how the mighty have fallen... Maybe Wally is tired of people poaching his QBs or he's tired of finding other teams their starters and second strings lol.

Too soon to post anything positive? After the last few years I guess it's expected, but all that being said, I have a feeling that this is going to be the start of a different Bomber era, a time where fans have hope and possibly can get their swagger back. Not sure how long it will take but I truly believe we are heading in the right direction as a franchise again. Call me a dreamer or delusional if you'd like because I know this has been said countless times over the last 23 years. Still IMO I've seen us try harder in the last 6 months than in the last 5 seasons combined to improve and that gives me reason to hope.

Bryan is both a rookie coach and a Canadian so he would fit right in

The more I think about Glenn the more I am starting to have that "been there done that" sort of feeling, and I'm not sure I want the team to get into that. The goal for this team is to get this team to a Grey Cup championship and actually win the thing. We know QB is an important element of that. Glenn may have save for a broken arm, won one in 2007 (we'll never know and Riderfans will argue forever on that), but he sure as heck didn't win one in 2012 or 2013 on a good team. Yes he played well during the regular season but it still makes me wonder if he truly is just good enough to get you into the playoffs and that's all. I am of the opinion now that we need to develop the guys we have (with a better system) and see how it plays out. Ya, I know everyone is going to say that hasn't worked before, why now but what other choice do we have?  Ottawa right now wants too much for Glenn and he wants to start. Those are problems IMO that could hinder the development of the young guys that may develop into the future for this team. If we can get him for nothing and he doesn't mind playing backup that changes things somewhat, why not? As it stands now though, I don't think it's a good idea to bring him in.
