  1. I'm normally a huge supporter of the starting QB until they've proven otherwise and I think Nichols might be on the cusp of accomplishing that for me.  he looks either hurt or in a funk without any light at the tunnel.  hes always been a game manager QB and needed to be on point to have success..  something has knocked that awry.

Before the season becomes a write off, I think we would benefit big time.from a concept like this.  it worked pretty good in a few previous instances in BC with Reilly and Lulay/Jennings and further back with Maas and Ray..  it has the potential to both spurn on Streveler to be better and to kick Nichols in the ass to be better or lose his job..  the season is getting to a very close breaking point and if our offense doesnt get back on track, we are sunk with how our defense has been..

Will the coaches go for it?? Doubtful as Oshea is stubborn and loyal but I really hope we see Nichols with a shortleash and Streveler off the bench if struggles continue at the clip that they have been.

Certainly any team is beatable this Season in the CFL. It wouldn’t shock me if Toronto beat Calgary after losing to Montreal. However I disagree with the statement Collaros is terrible. Last nights game was only the 4th game he has started in SK after game 1.5 concussion. He looks to be getting better each week where as Nichols looks to be slipping some what.

The back to back Labour Day Classic. Will more than likely be split. The crowds will play a huge part for the home teams.

Im going to try and start an agreement between Manitoba and SK to stop calling the rematch the Banjo Bowl. I lived in Vancouver for 7 years and the fans out there think it’s incredible that 2 Prairie teams agree to use that derogatory name. They honestly think Winnipeg fans are basically admitting to being mongoloids along with their Rival Rider fans. To me Winnipeg and SK are the CFL and really don’t need that negative publicity. We need to collectively just call the head to head series the back to back labour day series. ( or something like that)

You've got to be f'kn kidding me right?  honestly, if some dumb butthurt group of lightweights out in BC manage to convince the CFL to change the name of the banjo bowl, I might give up on the CFL.  It was made in jest and continues to be a running joke amongst to best buds/worst enemies in the league.  its accurate and reflects both well, albeit insanely tongue in cheek.

Nobody here gives two squirts of piss at its derogatory angle.. why would either province care about some west coast whiners.. everyone's gotta always ruin other people's fun..

Doesn’t have much credibility when he’s missing routine throws and can’t get the ball out quick ever.  Also serves no purpose other than making pissy pants Matty Nichols feel better about how sucky he played.

From what I heard, he called out pretty much everyone on the team for its performance.  nobody executed the game well..  normally its "I'm the coach, it's on me to prepare them.."and this time was "everyone underperformed.." seemed like even he was at a tipping point.

I understand the board's overall mood is at a new low right now ... but this good sir, is nothing short of blasphemy.

How its even remotely possible to question that move at this point is a little mind bottling..

Charleston Hughes says hi.   When and where have I ever mentioned that no one wants to play in Winnipeg?  I would think for the fan experience Winnipeg and Regina would be top two for sure.  If you want to disappear into the masses and not be hounded by fans, BC, Montreal, Toronto would be good.

One traded player.  good for you!

Herb's tweet said he refused to do up the chinstrap. Seems to me if a coach tells you to do something and you refuse you're going to face disciplinary action. Maybe this wasn't the first time he refused to do what was asked.

I'm baffled at this age and this level that a player would push something so trivial as a chin strap to the point of suspension..

    Asinine actually.

  7. Ya if anyone truly believes this post had any integrity and attempt to have a meaningful conversation... you're deluding yourself. This post was created solely to try and worm in and start a dialogue before he turned it into a spewfest.  zero doubt in my mind and I cant believe after all these seasons and all these attempts...people still fall for it.

Oh I know you have booch lol.  burg on the other hand, not so much.

Point I was making is that it does happen.  with Anabolic steroids, not so much unless hes really dumb and taking stuff from friends at the gym or something (which is plausible,  it was an oral steroid he was caught with.. or one usually taken orally anyway)

A football player caught with PED's in his body and he doesn't know where they came from? That's a story I've never ever heard before. Surprised he got caught? That I believe. Sorry that he got caught? I believe that too. A pro not knowing what he's taking? Nope... I don't believe that.

So you've taken dozens if not hundreds of supplements in your grueling football career have you?  cool story.

You have to admit - it was a little too easy for Masoli. We’ll see what happens on Friyay...

This is the true litmus test.  can we show better after getting a chance to play the offense that kicked us around so badly?  we've made great strides in stats and in the eyeball tests against weaker opponents... let's see what happens against Hamilton again before passing judgement..
