He wanted him because hes a big target who used to be reliable and able to get open.
This year and last, not so much. so we moved on. not quite sure why people are so up in arms about it. it didnt work out. oh well.. next man up. its not like we were losing games because of him or our offense.
Bomber fans gonna bomber fan I suppose

People seem to forget that hes also going head to head against DCs every game too.. some games a DC will game plan very well against his offense.. others not so much... I'd say that he beats his opposition far more often then the DCs shutting him down. is he the best OC ever?? No.
but he is a far cry from the garbage we've seen come thru the stadium doors in the past..

Seems every week there's a clip that shows up on twitter of Hardrick just pwning some poor schmuck. Really has turned into one of the best in the league at that position.
And didnt we sign him away from sask or somewhere else? I've been so impressed by this guy at tackle.

STREVELER!

You're not wrong.. but gotta remember the offensive line is going to only be as good as its weakest link... Bond (and now Paddy) have 2 of the better linemen in the league imo flanking them on our oline.

Nichols was ok but 162 yards passing aint much.
If we score 30+ and hes only getting 162 yards.. I'm quite ok with that. 300 yards offense in the first half..

Leggett as a return man is a fail.
I've been a staunch defender of Hall up to this week. I know we had some change up on the defense but we played so soft and so off the offensive players it was ridiculous. I'm finally coming around to the concept that halls defenses are just outdated and easily beatable. maybe he needs to take the same sabbatical that Lapo took to revitalize his game plans and concepts.. I dunno somethings gotta give. watching Masoli make clean, completed pass after pass.. AND their running game chew us to shreds....
Incredibly demoralizing and disheartening.. tho didnt help they were on the field almost all damn game.

Nichols will be our starter this year 100% ... next year 75% ... but if the year after comes and Streveler is still doing what he’s doing ... then you have to move on from Nichols. Have to.
Can’t expect Streveler to re-up and bypass NFL deals if you’re not going to give him starter dollars. Keep in mind ... this is a guy that turned down legitimate NFL offers to come here. We will have to open the wallet up for that to happen a second time.
I really hope it plays out like this but if his trajectory stays on the path it is... NFL will be knocking on his door sooner then later. size, athleticism, smarts and head in the right place.. plus great arm.
Dunno how they dont.. dunno how we keep him in the CFL.

I wouldn't be so concerned with Timmins...one game doesnt make a guy a concernabele threat.. yet...most likely caught edm off guard and they have a tendency to get gouged up the gut like that
My thoughts too. didnt factor him in.

Cause he's a good player and always has been, maybe watch him actually play the game instead of spouting the groupthink line.
Lol K den.
I've watched him in all of his stops since leaving here.. has been underwhelming to say the least but mediocre DBs playing sam is your jam...

Don Unamba is playing SAM for the Tabbies. Big night for slot receivers?
I hope Lapo keeps things unpredictable and keeps using a ton of misdirection. Got a lot of weapons including Streveler’s legs.
Wow. How is Unamba still around... let alone starting? Craziness..

Don’t want to blame the victim but the only one of the 3 involved in the hit who changes trajectory is Ray. Appears to me he’s trying hard to get to the turf once he knows he’s done for the play as he often does and ends up in an awkward position. Would have taken a big hit without putting himself on the turf but probably would have taken most of the impact in his torso rather than the top of his head if he took the tackle.
I thought the same thing tbh and that's another reason why I'd say it's not so much a cheap shot but just one of those football plays..
