Listening to Suitor trying to explain Stove's nickname and yammering on about him being a kitchen appliance made me want to reach in tv and slap him...if u have no clue..STFU
He needs to go. That’s a consensus across every CFL message board, he’s terrible. Combine him with Rod Black and it’s that much worse…

Suitor of all people actually said it pretty well last night.... you pay full retail price for everything you get against the Bombers d.
It's true. You gotta earn anything the hard way and the Bombers just never stop coming. They got enough depth they rotate guys through and keep everyone fresh.
If anyone is to beat Winnipeg, especially come playoffs, they will have to play perfect. You can MAYBE make one mistake.
I wonder if Alexander finds his way to the NFL. That man loves to hit.

Not going to win many giving up 3 points?.. ahh ..ok
No…? Edmonton is not going to win many giving the field position they did

I've been watching cfl ball for 38 years now and this is the worst Edmonton team in my memory. I've never seen a completely disinterested Elkimo team before. Heads should roll there in the offseason.
They were picked by the majority of writers/analysts to be the best team in the west too.

Some weird coaching from the Elks head coach tonight. One being knowing we have no place kicking to be found, take a chance and kick it out of the end zone and not give up safeties plus your D is playing fairly well. I get it but anything outside the 30 may only give up a point.
Yes the Bombers had excellent field position all night… not going to win many games the way they played tonight.

The heaviest in town they say.

What in the world is happening… you can challenge illegal blocks now??

My only concern is that we don't get to Harris and he rattles of 15 consecutive eight yard passes against us. Otherwise we should be good.
Trevor Harris reminds me of Kevin Glenn...hit him a few times and the guy will be shook up for a quarter or two.
Said it over and over about Harris, he will throw 6 touchdowns one week, and the next week he’ll go for 150 yards. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him put up big back to back games.

Charleson Hughes never got suspended by the Riders right when he was passed out behind the wheel.
He was suspended for one game by the Riders

Wish Cody and Duke the best of luck on those deep passes while Jefferson and Jeffcoat cave in their offensive tackles in the west final....
Speaking of Jeffcoat, he’s my MODP right now. I think on that DLine he causes the majority of the issues at present. Dude is *fast*

@greenrider55what's your take on your OL overall? Agree on Jefferson but Boyko isn't great either. None of them impress me to be honest.
The inside boys in Ferland, Clark, and Evan Johnson have worked well together thus far, interior pressure hasn’t been a big issue… but the edges have been rough. I’m going to hope they go with Lauderdale at LT who has been stout, but move Boyko to RT and get Jefferson out. Jefferson just doesn’t look like an athlete. Willie Jefferson would be a better RT right now (actually now that I say that Willie probably could jump on the OL and play fine)

I would rather play SK than Calgary in the west final personally. We match up better against their weak o-line.
Sask has to add double TE or an extra lineman to have a remote chance to make any sort of run.
Cam Jefferson leads the league in pressures given up, would like to see him fired to the moon ideally.

Never going to complain about adding a 1,500 yard receiver. Our receiving core sans Evans has been… not great. Adding Evans and Williams adds two big threats through the air, as opposed to Picton who could still be blanketed by Davis Sanchez.

If the staff there was smart....which have my doubts about they would roster Lynch and get him some reps....Harker isn't the answer and doesn't even come in for short yardage as he is built like a 13 year old girl...no offence to any 13 year old girls who may persue the site, but the kid wouldn't last a game of punishment, not to mention what a team like Winnipeg would put on him.
As a Broncos fan, I am not overly fond of Paxton Lynch, but maybe he’d be better suited to the CFL style of play.

I always review a thread going back one or 2 pages just to get a feel for the conversation. What do you make of Cody Fajardo's comments? Not only did he criticize his receivers but also Jason Maas's play calling as well as not agreeing with his call on the late interception. Not a good situation.
Not a good situation by any means. Cody has been in his own head this season, evident when he has a miscue he just seems upset every time. I remember at the LDC he missed an open receiver on his second throw of the game and he was smacking his helmet and seemed upset. I’m hoping he comes out of this funk asap. Tough to watch.

From the few games that I've watched with the Riders this year, it seems like they take at least 3 - 5 completely avoidable penalties. I think it was in the first series against Calgary where Marshall pushes the reciever down after he had already taken many steps out of bounds which then pushed the ball closer to the goal line. They also seem to take many more no yards and off sides then other teams.
You’re bang on here. The majority of the penalties we take are avoidable. It’s frustrating beyond words to then see Dickenson just pat the guy on the helmet.
