O’Shea deserves a statue on ever corner in Winnipeg.

he’s probably got more to contribute around here these days, I’m just here to speak my mind and then disappear for weeks on end.
the last thing I hope for as a fan base is that we become like those sister humpers to the west that think everyone and their dog are out to stick it to us. So when I see it happening, I don’t like it. Nothing more, nothing less. Our locker room stays humble, it would be cool as a fan base if we could do the same.
oh and if you’re referring to my Arkells comment - oh well, they’re great. The only thing that sucks about them is they cheer for the wrong team
Ignoring what is, at best, incompetence...at worst, blatant bias doesn't mean we're humble. It's just giving a pass to the incompetent/biased.
Suitor says Jeffcoat grabbed Evans' facemask a twisted his head causing his injury. He didn't. Then ignores a close up replay of Lawrence actually grabbing a facemask and cranking. The crew sounds like they're broadcasting from a wake after the Bombers win. Calling it out is no different than calling out the command centre for their garbage call for Williams last week.
The team has to let that stuff go to continue performing. I'm under no such obligation. -

BRIng in Walter Ostanek and the Ukrainian Trio- THAT'S a halftime show!
Nestor Pistor singing The 11 Days from Christmas would have been very appropriate

I'm just watching the Tsn coverage post game and it sounds like the entire crew aside from Milt just had their best friend die.
Like what kind of **** show is this. That interview with Matthew Scianity and Orlando Steinhauer seemed that Matthew was crying in agony. Like ok, so much for unbiased reporting. Even Rod Smith and Suitor are crying because Hamilton lost.
Haven't experienced such biased commentating since the Jays beat the Phillies in '93. Before that it was when the Jays beat the Braves in '92.

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts......
TSN would bring them into the booth to help call the game and Suitor would slobber all over them.

Do you mean in the Riders' barn?
I do. Is that not where the Cup is next year?
1 minute ago, Starman115 said:From what I'm reading on social media, many Ti Cat fans are viewing that kneel kinda like the Riders' 13th man. They're in disbelief.
Not a bad comparison, actually

I’ll go half way with you on that. I would have asked him something like what was the key play that you feel turned the tide on your team? Then the tougher questions come tomorrow out of respect.
Fair enough. I guess I'm just more of a "thrill of victory/agony of defeat" guy. Asking the questions in the moment is where the drama lives. But your suggestion would have been a good alternative/compromise.

At least Suitor didn't try to fellate this guy.

They’ll ask tomorrow. Bush league is bringing the music guy into the booth during the game. That’s bush.
That is also bush league...but imo due to the small size of the league and the everyone knows everyone situation that creates...media is hesitant to ask tough questions at uncomfortable times/at all. Likewise with the officiating/command centre.

They just showed the Orlando after game interview and still no tape on anyone asking him about taking the knee. Bush league.
4 minutes ago, HardCoreBlue said:200 years? Wow generous. Isn’t it awesome to pile on the Riders when they weren’t even it the show. Yea you’re living in our heads rent free but why do we feel so good?
Just imagine how insanely amazing it'll feel when we three-peat in their barn next year!!

Duthie just went off on how it would have been a storybook ending if Hamilton had won at home with Massoli coming in after not getting the start and how The Bombers "ruined the ending" in Hamilton.
From where I stand the storybook ending was Winnipeg, after not winning for 29 years, put together a beast of a team...won a Cup...kept the team together after a cancelled season...came into a hostile barn and overcame 3 quarters of adversity to win their second Cup in a row in a thrilling overtime.
Seriously...every one of these tools can suck a dufflebag full of weiners. -

My guess is the player confused the call because ticat coaching is too smart for that.
I get where he was coming from but Scianitti should have asked Orlando about it. That's part of championship sports. You can't bail on questions like that just because the coach is sad.

That was Tim Burke level incompetent coaching. "Take a knee!!"
Do we know if that was a coaching decision or a player decision? It just seems so bizarre. Scianitti didn't have the stones to ask Orlando about it.

He really and truly looked absolutely defeated in that moment and they still had a chance.
He whined and quit on the game last year and it looks like he quit on it this year, too.
Can't wait to watch the Cup edition of CFL Wired. Should provide some hilarious commentary.
