That is exactly right. Living here, I have friends who have Stamps season tickets. They all said that they're done & won't be renewing. They feel betrayed with what happened & aren't coming back. These are older fans who have been season ticket holders all for over 30 years. They don't feel appreciated anymore. They'll never be back. Younger fans just don't give a damn. Apathetic fanbase. They're now going to follow their favourite NFL team. A lot of Seahawk fans are Calgarians. I assume that is where they'll now spend their money for their football fix.

Everybody knows Edwards bought the Stamps as a tax write off. He puts no money into the team, free agents or facilities.

We just go from one problem team to another. Ambrosie telling us we have strong ownership is a farce. Calgary is the next tire fire.

Way to go CSEC & Murray Edwards. Well done. What a bunch of fools.

It really is a shame for a once proud/dominant team. I enjoyed the Manitoba/Calgary trash talk and rivalry with my Calgary relatives ever since I was a kid but it's no longer a major source of conversation because they simply don't care anymore.

    A pity, really.

Teams like the Stamps & Elks used up that goodwill years ago. The minute teams take their fanbases for granted, the trouble begins. With the Stamps, the fans feel betrayed as the ownership doesn't care. I believe that trust is gone in both Edmonton & Calgary. Getting that trust back will take a long time.

I have a lot of family in Calgary and I can confirm that they have the sense of...if the ownership doesn't care...why should they.

If the league is supposed to review every turnover - how come the ford non-interception was left as is?

Because there is honestly & literally zero consistency to whatever criteria they use to decide whether or not to get involved...and it's utter b*llsh*t and even if it isn't, it reeks of favouritism.

I'm unsure why that lesson has not been learned...yet

Pride goeth before the autumn...or something like that.

  4. A commissioner can do/say whatever he wants but nothing brings in fans more than having a competitive team. And we can see the reality of that in attendance figures this year. The Bombers were a different animal in that even tho they were sh*tting the bed early on they had the benefit of the faith and goodwill generated over the last few years of success.

Win games and they will come.

Man there's a lot of confidence around here considering that we've looked like hot steaming garbage for much of the last two games. Particularly alarming was how bad the defense was today. I definitely feel concerned going into the WF....

Speaking only for myself...I'm not at all confident...but I am old enough to know you have to take and appreciate enjoyment where/when you find it...cuz life can be a real b*tch sometimes.

I think it's maybe preventative maintenance so come WF...he's balls to the wall

That's quite the gamble considering we rely on him so often to win/grind out games. As the announcers love to say...Wpg's offence runs thru Brady.

    Appreciate the response.

I guess Sask won’t have any sugar tonight

No sugar tonight in their coffee?
No sugar tonight in their tea?
No sugar to stand beside them?

No sugar to sweeten their revolting relationship with their cousin?

I have no insight. But just suspecting maybe a nagging injury from the start of the season and or just resting him up for playoffs? That’s my guess.

If it's an injury I suppose I can see it but then why not just sit him and let him heal properly for the postseason? Resting him with first on the line just seems counterproductive.

I like to rag on Sheehan...I'll use his name and not punter for this but lost in the win on that winning field goal was him coralling that low bad snap that hit the turf in front of him and getting it pinned to not screw Castillos timing on the kick...huge play

He will now be punter again until he amazes with punts

And an honourable mention to Demski who really righted the ship on fumbles this year. He locks it down tight every time now.

But why has Brady been all but benched in the last 2 games? You have any insight?

    Corner gas here lol.

God forbid they have to "join this program already in progress".
This is why having the games broadcast on a dedicated sports channel is a must.

The game was over. They do that with NFL games as well.

So they're consistently bush league with the CFL and NFL. Good to know.

I still expect similar game time management as last week for them.  They want the confidence but they don't want to get needlessly banged up either - they already lost the starting RT last week and his replacement is a GTD so they don't want to add to that list.

That's certainly the logical approach. I do wonder if Maas' ego will see it similarly. Best case scenario they go all out, we hammer them anyway and they limp (literally) into the playoffs.
