FrostyWinnipeg got a reaction from BattleLevel in UFA and RFA
I'm blocking all Telus IP addresses from seeing this trade proposal because you misspelt Toby's name

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to Brandon in Coyotes In Trouble Again?
If they go to Quebec do they bring back the Nordiques name with the awesome blue jerseys?

Big time troll-job, and a poorly executed one at that.

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to Rich in Frolik Conundrum
It is going to be a really interesting free agency year this year. The salary cap isn't going up a whole lot. A number of the upper echelon teams are already up against the cap. Haven't seen a list of UFAs for this year yet, so don't know what the marketplace will be like in terms of supply and demand. Be really curious to see what someone like Frolik gets on the open market.
I love Frolik's game. Great two way player. But I don't love him at $5M.

All we need are Steve Stamkos and Ben Bishop. And for Nic Petan to become the next Tyler Johnson.

I'll take Terry Sawchuck as the best NHLer from Manitoba.

I wanted them to win and to win the cup. That way we could say we lost to the eventual champs. Feels better. Just like the 80's!

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to iHeart in Merry Jetmas everyone
I was going to do a poem which would be a spoof of the night before christmas, but I could only get like the first line done (it's a good one, but where do I go from there? besides the mommies and daddies were in their beds holding onto their laptops and iPhones and Tablets)
We've had our team for four years and they have played three and a half seasons (Remember the lockout) and sometimes I look and wonder what would it have been like if the Coyotes moved back.
But then I Iook at the winning streaks, and the amazing saves brought on by Pavelic and Hutchinson, and I say to myself "well I'm happy with the team we got, considering a good chunk of them actually wanted to come here"
I still look at other things that happened on this day (and the only other interesting thing that comes close on this day was that Survivor premiered and thus reality television then took over)
I wouldn't give up this team for anything.

Wonder how long it will be before Toronto talks about their sell-out streak with a 20k seat stadium?

If you remember he had the same actor playing similar but different aviator characters for 2/3.
Very confusing. Most peeps think its the same guy and it is but different character.

Love reading these stories of the coyotes potential demise and shady deals and massive losses.

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to sweep the leg in Alberta, Taxes, and Socialism
Whomever wins, I'd like to see a minority government. As a Federal employee, I'd also like to see Tony Clement lose his job. That goofy looking pos has called me overpaid way too many times. Maybe I'll fly out to his riding and drop a deuce in his fancy new gazebo that we all paid for...

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to The Unknown Poster in Training camp successes
Why?
Nic Petan:
5'9"
166lbs
**Supposedly people who have seen him say he's heavier now, closer to 175+
Martin St Louis
5'8"
180lbs
Tyler Johnson
5'9"
175lbs
Johnny Gaudreau
5'9"
150lbs
Not sure any of the above three would have a problem making the Jets out of training camp.

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to Mark F in Alberta, Taxes, and Socialism
I think Max Power meant to say.....
"Oh wait! They closed down some environmental experiment ponds that no one had I've never heard of!"
Actually they are lakes, and the research is famous around the world, in scientific circles.
http://saveela.org/about/
"ELA scientists have been the recipients of numerous prestigious international water awards, including the Stockholm Water Prize, the International Tyler Prize for Environmental Science and the Gerhard Herzberg Gold Medal for Science and Engineering."

FrostyWinnipeg reacted to sweep the leg in Pac vs Mayweather
Other than Mayweather's retirement fight, I can't think of any fight that will draw mainstream attention for boxing again.
