Three North Carolina Cops Fired After Being Caught on Tape Talking About ‘Slaughtering’ Black People Reuters / Carl Recine Three police officers from Wilmington, North Carolina, have been fired after they were caught on tape using racist slurs and discussing plans to “slaughter” Black people in another civil war. The Washington Post reports that the cops—Officer Michael Piner, Cpl. Jesse Moore, and Officer James Gilmore—were accidentally recorded talking in their patrol cars, with audio revealing Piner predicting that Black Lives Matter protests would lead to civil war. “I’m ready,” Piner said, adding that he’d buy an assault rifle. “We are just going to go out and start slaughtering them ******* [n-----s,]” he said. For his part, Moore can be heard describing a local Black female court official as a “******* N*gro magistrate” along with a gay slur. When confronted with the recording, Moore and Gilmore somehow insisted they were “not racist,” with Moore saying he was just “feeding off Officer Piner.” Announcing the firing of the officers, Wilmington Police Chief Donny Williams, who is Black, called the recordings “brutally offensive.”

Saw Ken Burns last night, a respected historian, say “I think we’re in the middle of an enormous reckoning right now in which anxieties and the pains and the torments are bubbling up to the surface. It’s very important for people like me, of my complexion, to be as quiet as possible and to listen.” Said another way less eloquently, Matt Gaetz, sit down, stfu, and really listen.

There is a lot of sensationalist bullcrap in that article. I would count that maybe half of that holds any merit. But half of it being true isn't great for the league, either. Don't the Riders disclose their finances just like us? It's not like 30 million goes directly in their pockets. There are costs. The kicker was when they spent 2 million dollars on the Grey Cup that didn't happen. The margins in the CFL are fairly thin. If you're going to throw a bunch of **** out there, you might want to make sure a whole bunch of it isn't proven false.

In 1969, we had a running back in camp named Darwin 'Go Go' Gonnerman. One of those hyped signings. Gonnerman was an underwhelming player. He lasted 3 games & his career with the Bombers was finished. He suffered an injury either in a game or at practice. He repealed the Mental Systems Act which lead to the homelessness or incarceration of thousands of the mentally ill. His administration was statistically the most corrupt ever. 138 members of his team were investigated, indicted or convicted for their roles in various scandals. He deregulated the Savings & Loan industry which would lead to the subsequest Savings & Loan crisis. Was basically the initial funder of Al Qaeda when he funded Afghans opposed to Russia because he hated communism that much. Reagan was an FBI snitch during the McCarthy years. He created the Office of Public Diplomacy which manipulated media with White Propoganda. Please do your own research on this - terrifying. His administration used EPA Superfunds to influence elections. As mentioned, Iran-Contra. He vetoed sanctions against Apartheid South Africa. Trump loses it after learning NYC will paint ‘Black Lives Matter’ outside Trump Tower President Donald Trump was informed Thursday that New York City will also paint a Black Lives Matter mural similar to what Washington, D.C. did. In Washington, Mayor Muriel Bowser responded to Trump’s opposition to BLM by having DC Transit paint the words down 16th Street leading to the White House.
