  1. @Booch, why Mackonzo, guy has not played in a game or been healthy in about 2.5 years? Doesn't seem worth bringing in constantly injured players.

  2. Taking off the Blue tinted glasses ... I still have heard absolutely nothing but praise for Bob over the years and the word "legendary" usually attached to his name. I've never heard anyone (with exception of Mike Kelly) have a cross word or any sort of negativity attached to Bob.

  3. I think i’m with you on this. Isn’t it sort of the you need to spend money to make money kind of thing? Attract talent (players and media personalities) with investment dollars to help attract multiple revenue sources to help build and grow the game’s legitimacy to a wider and diverse markets. Making rule changes to help attract more fans is just one very small slice of the pie.

  4. Why is Willson employed? Reading his other posts he's extremely childish and acts like a baby whenever anyone calls him out. Get rid of him ASAP.

  5. Got up this morning, grabbed my phone & what do I see on X? Luke Willson & Bob Irving going at it again. Those 2 DO NOT like each other. But it's funny seeing Bob trying to keep his cool while Willson seems to be losing his mind. Peace on Earth. Goodwill to All Men....

  6. Think if he could sign a $200,000 a season for two year deal he'd be holding out? The CFL has to re-think this ridiculoulsly low rookie cap. It's okay for the special teamers with little or no talent from U Sports who make a name for themselves running downfield at full speed banging & crashing but have no hope of ever being starters. For legit, talented prospects, there should be leeway for any team to pay these rookie within the structure of the salary cap.

  9. If Kramdi makes the tackle, the Lions have time to kick the fg for the win. Obviously doesn’t make him a hero just funny how it worked out. Yeah feel for both Parker and Bonds. Showed lots of promise and had the tools… honestly I wonder how many burns could be attributed to our pathetic d-line use hanging them out to dry.

  10. Some of the young guys on the DL. Castillo as well. Outside of Wilson & Demski I'd like them to recycle the rest of those guys out & rebuild the receiving corps. Offensive Line at Center needs help deaperately. Then the league never grows. There's little or no excitement anymore for any new players coming in. They're just retreads who hung around the NFL or UFL. Same old, same old.

  11. Absolutely.....you don't tangle with a legend like Bob....Willson is coming across like a punk who needs his arse kicked

  12. Yeah I get not wanting teams to pay rookies a crazy amount before they've done anything....but i think a system where each team can allocate up to$200k for a rookie would be a good start.

  13. Griffin...Woods..Tui...Neuf...Big Stan....WJ if makes economic and playtime sense...Makonzo if healthy...as apparently he as at end of yr....Cadwallader....after that I hope we restock with new blood...That new receiver we just signed TJ Davis should be the Wheatfall replacement so dont see a dire need for him back....But if he is will be cheap and can always be cut...

He was a starter for 4 out of the 5 years and went to the pro bowl once before he won the Super Bowl. Darnold with that defense and surrounding cast can go far. A superstar team with a mediocre qb can win it all like Trent Dilfer did.

You don't know that. Brad Johnson was a backup qb for years before he won a Super Bowl for the Bucs. No one ever thought he'd be anything more than what he was... a backup qb. Things change as do situations & luck.

Lots of remorse in Minnesota with the play & injuries of JJ McCarthy. Last year, no matter what Sam Darnold did on the field, the fans really wanted McCarthy. Well, they got him. I think the OC & HC in Minnesota Kevin O'Connell was arrogant thinking any qb can play in his system & win when they can't. You need a legit starter to win & the Vikings had that with Darnold. Now the Seahawks have him.

  20. Look what happened in Detroit with DK Metcalf. I believe that if you buy a ticket & mess with a player on the field as in instigating a conflict then that ticket should give the NFL the right to prosecute or fine someone. We don't know what was said between the two but the fan put on a long blue wig to cover his face. So, whatever he said, it wasn't going to be good. I saw a video after the incident where the fan was screaming but not wearing his wig. A 25000 fine or 3 months in jail for harrassment would do that yahoo good. I read that a two game suspension that has been mentioned as possible punishment for Metcalf will mess with his guaranteed salary not only this year but whatever length the contract has left. So, how stupid was he to even talk to that nutbar?
