  1. Past hour
  2. O'Shea said they consider Smith more suited to DB than LB but that was early in TC.
  3. Its too early to say what Smith can or cannot be, currently he seems suited to sam or wil, but thru coaching could be db similar to Griffin. Haggarty Makonzo,Kelly are all light to be will.
  4. I had one bite of the Teriyaki Chicken sandwich... it tasted like I chugged a bottle of Soya sauce directly. The amount of salt I tasted nearly put me in a coma it was disgusting. The sauce needs to be dliuted massively or if they were to put maybe 10% of what they had on this one it would possibly be decent.
  5. The price of doing bizness in todays world.
  6. Other than shaking my fist and yelling at the clouds, where do i direct my frustrations if we lose Ehlers and get nothing in return? Or should i just simmer down cuz he was basically a rental for us this past playoffs and thats the price we had to pay?
  7. I hope we're ready for a qb. that will take off as well as throw down field....Ford seems to feed off of his running ability under pressure....He scampers pretty good around the end for big yds.....Cut that off and force him to throw all game....They can be had and I hope to hell we don't sit on a lead like we did last game....pedal to the metal all the way
  8. Bye Bye ehlers ,dont let the door hit you on the way out. Id go after Bennett.
  9. That's quite the bold statement about someone you don't know from a hole in the ground...
  10. Today
  11. you do know I said that with a question mark right? I'm not saying he's an upgrade I'm questioning if he is
  12. How on earth would Mangiapane be an upgrade?
  13. Interesting that it was Zach that initiated the extension talks, I think he spent the winter ignoring his phone and thinking about his future and realized the only thing he knows is football, and he isn't well suited for media. He's mentioned a few times in the last month that he wants to get into coaching, he has a lot of league connections so that doesn't necessarily mean Wpg, as he still lives in Ont.
  14. I want to see Eli rush for TD. 😁
  15. They made a few changes to their defence. From 3Down Nation: Defensively, the Elks are undergoing a similar shuffle in the secondary. Following the release of offseason signee Emmanuel Rugamba, Kordell Jackson will move to boundary halfback after making consecutive starts at strong-side linebacker. Rookie Chelen Garnes will slide into that spot after making three defensive tackles in a backup role last week, while Kenneth Logan Jr. comes off the practice roster to provide insurance.
  16. I hope we see more 6 oline sets with Eli and some quick passes tonight.
  17. Edmontons D line is the only thing I’d be concerned over. I hope the OL can handle Ceresna, he’s given them fits his whole career. I see this as a closer game than the spread. Short week and all that. Think we take over in the 4th but the Elkses keep it tight.
  18. He's well aware! CFL has momentum, but ‘not sustainable’ with only 2 teams turning a profit, commissioner says | Globalnews.ca
  19. Do we know what his deal looks like for next year? I know he's getting big money this year with a large guarantee but I don't think I've seen details for 2026. If there's no guaranteed money next year, we're not necessarily tied to him. It's not exactly the MOS way but if ZC doesn't perform up to his pay level, they could walk away from him in the off-season.
  20. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of adjustments the offense can make. A+ for Hogan week 1, call it a generous C+ game two. Really want to see Schoen pop off as he’s been good not great so far. Hopefully Cooley continues to get a little bit of a bigger role today, and wondering what kind of plan we’re going to have for a good Elks D-Line. Hopefully quicker, shorter passes to open up the intermediate to deep throws instead of Zach chucking it deep in double coverage.
