Game Day!

Yes, Edmonton has beat us in each of our last 6 games  with a combined score of 183 - 72, with an average margin of victory of 18.5 points.

But I'm tired of watching this team lose at IGF.  Time for a Bombers win!

Wind is blowing pretty good from the north right now (parallel with the field), especially when it gusts. It will be an important  game for the kickers if it doesn't die down. 

If we're still close or ahead at half-time, we have a chance in what ought to be a tough game. If the team reverts to old habits and the Esks have a 15 point lead at the halfway mark, we're boned.

I've thought Posey has actually been okay..... I'm more worried about Reilly running on us.  Bombers always seem to get lit up by running QBs

Green needs to be flogged for that hand to the face penalty.

Flag happy refs ruining the flow of the game. At some point they need to just let them play. I also get that the penalty to green was legit but really it had nothing to do with the end result on that play. It's the right call but is it necessary to make that call? 

I also have to wonder if maybe putting a time limit on when you can call a challenge would help the flow. Perhaps 5 or 10 seconds after the play. 

5 minutes to determine if the bombers could challenge that play. End result.  Delay of game bombers.  Took 5 minutes to determine it tho 

Make no mistake about it. This was Mike Reilly vs Drew Willy and the master embarrassed grasshopper...badly. Think pro QB vs semi-pro. There's that much difference. No matter the Bomber lead, Mike Reilly will make it evaporate. At the same time, no matter the Bomber lead, Drew Wiily will make it evaporate. 
Drew Willy staples his position as a top ten QB in the CFL once again.

A wasted D performance, tonight. They showed up and played fantastic against a really great Edmonton offense. Willy and co. again left many points on the board and can't finish drives.

I said it before and it will be repeated: dink and dunk is only fine if you can score points. Otherwise its just stats masturbation.

You can blame the oline. I don't think they are a huge issue. You can blame receivers. Don't think they are an issue. 

Drew Willy tho. Skipping throws. Throwing in to triple coverage.Under throwing. It's on him. Bombers need to find a QB cuz willy ain't the guy anymore and no Nichols is not either
