The Bombers will lead into the pre-draft weekend with a press conference tomorrow, February 5th, at 10:00am to discuss Free Agency as it pertains to the Blue Bombers.

We already know N. Moore won't be extended, and I've assumed Walker and Shell are gonzo, so that leaves 7 players, including 3 Non-imports. How many of these 7 guys will be announced as re-signed by Walters tomorrow?

Any guesses or half wishes, preferences?

Marshall? Hajrullahu? Pontbriand? Newman? What about Washington?

As of yesterday Demond was officially no longer a Bomber, so #7 came free.  If Demond re-signs, #77 looks to be available.

Weicke reporting Harris 175k Shologan 170k. Pretty good value for starting Canucks

Riders signing all the former Esks.  Wonder if these Alberta reporters will crap on them like they are doing the bombers 

how good is Bruce Campbell? other than Keeping, who can we get that's a good O lineman? Teams seem to be hanging onto their O lineman, except Bourke.

 

heard Milt on the radio this am. Said the bombers haven't done anything about O line, thought coaching might take care of that.

Bombers - Dressler, Smith, Cummings, Sholo, Medlock, Harris, Keeping.

Riders -  Lemon, Foster, Chambers, Lawrence, Jones, Chiles, Price, Campbell. 

Every single player we got aside from Keeping is a sure thing while every single player the Riders got aside from Foster and Lemon to an extent is a huge question mark.

thats because its obvious, the riders are using FA for depth (back ups) and will scout themselves a starting line up, they've now tied us for FA signings tho

 

Steep price to pay for Campbell.

I do like most of the moves the Riders made today - Foster and Lawrence are both very underrated players. Gainey, however, is garbage.

Ticats lose a former bomber in B Stew to BC and go out and sign Former Bomber Washington. 

Good signing by the Cats. Good luck to Washington except against us.

Washington always reminded me of B. Stew -- a guy who's one of the best athletes on the field but not a dominant football player.

Would there be anyone on the roster making more than 200k other than Willy and Nichols?

Sherritt staying in Edmonton.

Vaughn Martin is interesting but.... I'd suspect he's gonna have to drop some weight for sure, He's a big guy, not sure he has the stamina to keep up in the faster paced CFL.

Good news for them as the riders are sure taking them to the cleaners...coaching and player wise...I thought Jones would push for him but rumours are they didn't see I to eye..

Riders also sent a neg list player to Toronto for Campbell.

Rider pick up Greg Jones. Very Tamanesque day over there. I think they have pretty much spent as much as we did in the FA market so far.

But don't be alarmed.  It's a different situation we are told. They are rebuilding from being torn apart and these are all necessary "depth" signings. As opposed to us who are just complete garbage and can't build a team any other way.

It's kind of sickening seeing these media goofs praise the Riders yet crap on the bombers. I don't get it at all. The media love for SASK is bordering on ridiculous.
