Unfortunately for him, his agent is going to be one of the biggest reasons he never amounts to much more than a temporary mercenary in the CFL.

He's probably going to try to negotiate a one year deal at this point.

The difference being Reily was committed to the CFL and had basically negotiated a contract in advance. So you knew what you are getting. He of costs you 60K off the get go and becomes a one year player. His agent is an absolute knob that will ultimately destroy the credibility of any player he represents.

Gotta question Muambas agent here. Odd time to have a bonus coming up. Right after free agency. If I'm Henoc I'd probably think long and hard about getting myself a new agent. I think 1 yr deals are likely for him and if that's the case... I'd rather just pass. If he was willing to sign for 2 or more I'd make him an offer.... take it or leave it style. If he takes it... great. If not.. that's ok 2 cuz I don't think we need him as bad as some think we do. He would be nice to have but... 1 year deal?  No thanks. My guess Is he probably signs a 1 yr deal in Edmonton or Sask. They say 3 teams showed interest. Wonder who the 3rd was cuz rumor has it.. it wasn't us

I like Jonte's size as well, 6 foot and some decent experience in the NFL (granted not in the best of secondaries.. but I digress)

I have no idea how the Als can even be in that situation... Now we're talking a huge fine to match & a loss of a first round draft pick if they don't clean that up.

They just renegotiated the deals for Bear Woods, Chip Cox and SJ Green so that should help a bit (at least short term).

 I wouldn't be too happy if I was Woods or Green though since their new deals were only a month old.
