  • I've got to admit, maybe its apathy from such a bad season, but this doesn't really make me more excited about the roster. Defense isn't our main issue, and if we're going to keep playing 4-3 fronts t

  • Awesome.  Can he be our OC too?

  • Doesn't matter where Wild fits, you make room for him. Guy is a player and at very least he's also a guy you can trust to run down and cover kicks too.

Doesn't fix our offence

We're shifting responsibility of scoring to our our defense.

Offense is in charge of briefing the ST's.

Wild is a very good player and I'm happy to have him back - as long as this doesn't effect our pursuit of Henoc.

This is a pretty good sign Henoc ain't coming here

Muamba is a goner, for sure, and that is not the end of the world. Leggett has been playing well at linebacker and I hope Wild's arrival will not upset the character of a decent defence. However, neither Muamba nor Wild is going to salvage the season, nor even win one more game than if they were not  here.

If anything, Wild plays well on ST.

Great news. I would think now Henoc becomes more of a ratio changer. It would be great to have him but now the cost becomes more of a factor.

Plus he leads the yoga workouts!

Dang, I was so looking forward to Henoc and his 6 game "be grateful that I'll wear your jersey until the off season and I try and get back into the NFL" signing.  Good on you Ian.  Welcome back.

Could there be trade in the horizon involving any of the LBs?

Would love to have Muamba here, even for 1 game!

Me too, we can always use another butt in the stands, but I'm betting that he'd want the Bombers to pay for the seat and give him access to their corporate wifi so he can continue to check out his NFL options during the game.  Priorities, don't ya know.

I hope he maxes out his contract and limits his playing time in the CFL.

He should be in the NFL and likely will be again soon.

imo, Wild is twice the football player Muamba is, great to have him back. Now go find some receivers like Rogers and Fuller and get Veltung back returning kicks and punts and things might start to turn around.

Walters sure is active after the rumors came out yesterday.  Wonder what this means, if anything...

Agree. The Guelph job is a job for life move. And free education for the kids?? Not much to contemplate.

IMO....I'm guessing we're looking for another GM.

Hope Walters stacks the Bombers before/if he leaves.

BOD Breaking News. Bellefuelle will bereleased from his OC job and become Bombers new GM.

Well if anything this signing temporarily stops bored fans from going over and checking out the Jet's site to see what the rosters are like for tomorrow's first preseason game ;)

He had a couple of years to do that and it ain't done yet so what makes you think he will in the next few weeks?

I like Wild as much as the next guy but come on.

Can Ian play OL or receiver?

Sorry he didn't make the Steelers, but glad Ian is back…..

Good defence now better.

At the very least, Ian can give Addison Richards some hair tips...

I say that because Wild is the more versatile player athlete, he can basically play all 3 LB'er positions and safety in a pinch. Muamba is a one trick pony.

Here's a thought that I'm surprised no one has mentioned yet... with Leggett at LB, maybe Wild could play safety... would be a way to get Bass, Wild and Simmons on the field all at once... wait... Bass, Wild, Simmons, and Muamba on the field at the same time!

You gotta admit he is better than the clown we had in here prior to Walters. Be patient. This a 30 year process. 3 more years to go

@wild_ian: Bags are packed. See you tomorrow Winnipeg!
