@PentonKirk: There are rumblings the #Bombers are going to work out WR Romby Bryant, who was released by the #Argos over the weekend.

Well the other thing is, that rumbling penton was referring to could have just been the rumblings in his head or the thunder that was happening outside about an hour ago.

Penton is pretty connected. I consider him very credible.

Whether we sign Romby or not, I think this illustrates pretty clearly that Kelly is on borrowed time right now.

Why not just bring in Tyron Carrier? We can rotate (on Kelly's spot) him and Woods and both can return punts.

I'm not against Romby Bryant at all... for the right price.  Exp receiver if Moore goes down...  all depends on how he recovered from his injury last year

He''s a veteran & if we can squeeze 800 yards out of him it may be worth it.

Who has a better chance of sticking with their respected NFL clubs Dressler or Matthews?

for all the raving people did about the "higher calibre prospects" the Bombers had this year it's quite apparent that this current scouting staff is not as good at finding american recruits as the last staff was. Maybe they get better as they have more time to get everything going but the crop of WRs they brought in this year was pretty lacklustre.

I don't mind Bryant. Agree that we should be able to find a promising rookie receiver, but I think Bryant is better than what we've got.

This is a tricky one - all the same guys who say relax 'the GM knows more about football than you' have also derided bryant for quitting on his team... but now management might be bringing him in....  mind equals blown.
