Heard yesterday morning out of Regina a Rider player had been in a wreck and that it was likely the Rider players fault, didn't know who until afternoon. Then a lot of locals went off on a "brown guy

Imo, they are a really good bad team. On the fringe of becoming a good team.

They remind me a lot of the 2016-2018 Bombers. Some really nice pieces but still missing something to put them over the edge.

Wasn't it Dru who asked for his release? He'd be the starter in Ottawa by now if he hadn't.

Yeah I actually thought that was who Hamilton would have signed. As soon as the Ambulance pulled on to the field, their management should have been on the phone with his agent.

I wonder if Hamilton enquired about trading for Bryce Perkins? being the former UFL MVP, I'd have liked to see him gat a chance to show whatn he can do throwing the ball & running an actual pro offense. Elgersma could handle short yardage.

He did and they initially declined that request.

Watching that team implode last night, I'm sure he's glad he's back with the Bombers I was expecting a much bigger crowd than that at CWS. Jjust a sad situation in both Calgary & Edmonton.

I know Dru had his issues staying on the field in Ottawa but what was Dinwiddie thinking.

I mean good for us but I hate seeing any team in this league being winless and without a viable QB (only exception to that would be the the Riders because .. F the Riders).

I’m seeing a similarity between Dinwiddie and our MOS that is both a strength and weakness:

Committed to sticking to the process with sprinklings of loyalty and hardcore support of certain players.

The thing that confuses me about Dinwiddie, is he'll absolutely throw players under the bus to the media. Like last week with his punter and the bad tackle attempt or other defenders who he just straight up said he would cut if they did whatever they did wrong again...but he'll defend a guy like Maier who repeatedly makes bad decisions when throwing the ball.

Getting pissed at a guy who's bad at something he isn't really supposed to be doing (Punter having to tackle...I know...they all have to do it at some point but they aren't known for doing it well) and then not blinking an eye at a guy who is bad at doing the job he is supposed to do.

Great points, Dinwiddie certainly isn’t consistent with his loyalty which i’m sure sends certain messages to his team that can create some discord. I think with our MOS it’s way more subtle but still a bit the same as in the leash he gives certain players is much longer than other players than can send similar messages as well.

He's been doing this for a while now - he just seems like such an absolute douchebag.

  • When Toronto started the season 0-3 last year, he threatened to cut players. He did not so it was an empty threat.

  • Threw some of his Argo coaches under the bus when the team was given poor grades by the players. Said there was a reason he didn't bring more coaches with him to Ottawa.

  • Dru Brown was a distraction and has a weak arm for requesting his release after not getting a chance to compete for the starting role.

  • Punter will be cut if he misses a tackle again.

  • Claimed refs were blowing calls when they were actually correct. Dinwiddie had no clue that an elbow touching the ground is down by contact, thought it was the same an putting your hand down to keep you up. Also didn't seem to know a player who is forced out of bounds is eligible to rejoin the play.

He needs to take a look in the mirror and take some responsibility for where his team is at.

He’s complete opposite of who they had in place last year.

The look on Dinwiidie's face after McCheese's last int. was one of I think I kept the wrong guy

They actually a pretty good team...They are young and have legit talent...Just need to learn how to win now, and what not fall apart when it matters, but they getting it...a young team learning on the fly

They have overall more talent than us...and its younger...

Yup...not sure what all went on there..or what he saw/felt in his qb stable but wrong move...our gain tho

I sure there gonna be a lot of league chatter if Brown lights it up today..or just looks like a legit #1 which i dont doubt

I bet we see some nice intermediate and deeper throws too witj nice touch to basically silence the crap Dimwit said about no ability to push ball down field..Brown showed here he had great touch in the intermediate and beyond..prob better than zc can now as well

My thinking is JM is showing real well in practice that he can’t translate fully into a game situation, ie hall of famer practice player.

Dru Brown having a great game tonight would really rub salt in Dinwiddie's wounds... Hopefully this is his karmic punishment and we reap the benefits

YTup...and hope he does as he was a cheap option for Fantasy ...made it easy to nab Rankin and Philpot lol

Dinwiddie's reputation as this great young Head Coach is taking a huge hit. I was certain that he'd turn the RedBlacks areound quickly, Now, after he traded Brown to us to keep Jake Maier, he looks like a stubborn dumbass. Osh was like that with Drew Willy when he was a rookie HC himself. However, he may not have been wrong about Willy. I think Willy's play deteriorated because his OL was brutal. Willy got mugged every game. We never got to see Drew show anything close to his real potential.

He was forever ruined. I don't know how those losers protecting him could even sleep at night seeing the punishment & injuries he suffered. I admired Willy just having the courage to even be willing to play for the Bombers. He never complained. Not even once. It was a dangerous situation & realistically, he might have been killed. Walters did nothing to help.

Just getting caught up on the CFL this morning ... Awe up to his old tricks with a late hit against VAJ that deserves some supplemental discipline.
