Heard yesterday morning out of Regina a Rider player had been in a wreck and that it was likely the Rider players fault, didn't know who until afternoon. Then a lot of locals went off on a "brown guy

Chad Kelly was gone an entire season for harrassing a female coach after she refused to go out with him. There was no sexual touching by Kelly. He was made a supreme example by the CFL. It seems the amount of time these losers are getting for suspensions are less & less as time goes on. What Ajou Ajou got was a slap on the wrist. This entire affair just looks so bad for the Stamps & the CFL.

Watts could tuck it & run... Ham was outstanding. As a Bomber fan, he used to scare the bejeebers out of me when he played for Edmonton. He was at his most dangerous as a runner when the pocket started to collapse around him.

yeah he definitely showed that ability in the 1990 Grey Cup...lol...

He nearly beat the mighty Eskimos in 1980.

The Apple Bowl June 27, 2026. We were sitting in the far right grandstand on the 20 yard line.

The specific details haven't been released that I've seen, but the big hanging factor was that after she refused his advances to the point she had to make a formal complaint, they decided to let her go.

Kelly's suspension came under Randy; didn't Ajous come under Stewart? Hopefully it isn't a trend if it was him. This is way too light a punishment. I believe Randy did the same to the former riders Lber/db who was cut from the NFL over some awful stuff, and the Riders wanted to bring him back.

I hope its not a trend, but the CFL had the whole Lemon mockery made of its suspension and appeal process. And Johnson is doing his best to race Randy to the basement.

That was JC Watts, I was talking about Tracy Ham. Luckily he sucked in 1990 and our defense destroyed him.

I think JC Watts was closer to Nealon Greene than he is to Rourke. Guy could run a little bit but he was not a great passer, nope.

Ham, maybe, that guy was a true dual threat.

He was slight enough that he could double as a pipe cleaner.

If the Lions were smart, they'd leave the grandstand up & play one regular season game a year in Kelowna. I loved the place. What a beautiful venue & city for a CFL team. The great thing about Kelowna is the fact there are not only a lot retirees the age of myself & my wife but a lot of young people also live there as well.

Regina has 296000 people with another 100000 people including Moose Jaw 45 minutes away. Kelowna has 239000 people & the entire Okanagan has over 400000 residents. Kamloops, a city over 100,000 is 75 minutes away. There's a lot more money in Kelowna than in Halifax.

Halifax is a city of over 500,000 with another 500000 in 4 provinces but the population is really spread out. Will fans drive up to 6 hours to get to Halifax?? How many could they draw from Newfoundland?? I have my doubts it would work. I'm not a big CFL Maritimes booster as they've tried for 50 years to get a team in there & a stadium built to no avail so why bother anymore. I just don't think it could work finanacially. Espcially that gawd awful Atlantic Time Zone which is 4 hours ahead of Halifax. Imagine trying to watch a game that starts at 7:30 pm on a Thursday in Vancouver??

Maybe I'm a dreamer but I think the CFL could work in Kelowna. It would need a smaller 22000 seat stadium which could be expandable to 25000 in the future.

The problem with Kelowna (totally unrelated to football) is their road infrastructure is stuck in the 1980s when the population was way way smaller than it is now. Driving around that city sucks all kinds of balls.

Yeah, they're behind in Kelowna. Look at Winnipeg, though. Compare how traffic moves in Winnipeg compared to other cities as large or bigger in Canada. Winnipeg didn't exactly embrace modern traffic designs, either.

It’s true, but man that’s one of my favourite places in canada

Time to face the music and realize the Bombers might have one of the best defenses in the league only giving up 30 ppg 🤣

Imagine fundamentally changing Canadian football to increase scoring.

The thing is it’s proven the American game style does NOT increase scoring.

Traffic light after traffic light after traffic light. Bumper to bumper traffic. Rush hour is a nightmare on so many streets in Winnipeg.

What is up with the D's in the league this year? It feels like the amount of 300 , 400 yard passing games is significantly higher then it has been for the last 20+ years.

It looks like 59 instances of someone passing for 300+ yards in 90 games last year versus 18 so far through 23 this year. So above last year's pace, but there hasn't been any in game injuries this year and no backups playing yet.

Vernon Adams with 405 and 6td passes, no ints and a rushing td last night. That's unreal.

Argos D got absolutely embarrassed.

Just stupid how far behind the offenses defenses are this year.

It was absolutely more about the Argos D then it was the Stumps O. Someone should be getting cut/fired after that.

I just can't help but feel there is something going on with the rules (or how they're being enforced/not enforced) that's allowing the offenses to do what they're doing. It shouldn't ever be this much of a disparity...

I hate to think that maybe the league says there has to be more scoring...Something ain't kosher

Vernon Adams is the ultimate summer quarterback. He always comes out flying early in the season.

Rolled my eyes so hard at his "on pace for over 7000 yards!!!!!!1111!!!" Nonsense TSN was showing. As if that kind of pace is sustainable year long for a guy who falls off consistently and also has a tendency to get knicked during the season. A hot month isn't indicative of sustained level of play.

We're a summer league now thanks to the soft CFL fans who cry ab0ut going to games if it's minus 1. The CFL actually listened to these whiners.
