Mike Miller = bye bye Brady.

Has a resume almost as great as Mike Kelly's.

Horrible takes after horrible takes this offseason. You're on a streak!

curious if you could elaborate on that?... I don't know anything, but I've heard only good things about Miller...

The guy has pretty clearly been blacklisted by the NFL and FBS/FCS levels of NCAA.  He goes from 15 years in the NFL to one year in the circus in Montreal with Dan Hawkins to D3 to a year in a spring league to the CFL again with a pretty dysfunctional organization (not that I think O'Shea etc. would see that since it's a lot of his buddies involved).  He's up here making $90,000 Canadian.  Think you'd have to do some pretty significant due diligence on why that is before you give him a leadership role.

Miller doesn't thrill me either. Red flags all around him. He does seem to be highly regarded by his peers but there is something smelly there and he would be another rookie OC in our league. Condell has a good passing game, and hiring him would signal to me that we are not going to re-sign Brady so that should be interesting.

Bombers sign UFL MVP QB Bryce Perkins...

that’s a pretty darn good get. I would not be surprised if he is our short yardage qb next year.

Very strong athletically, more quick than fast great change of direction and cutting ability.

Love his release, strong enough arm good accuracy. His style of play and college offence translates very well to the cfl. Love that he has had success as a pro too.

Came back from a crazy career threatening injury as a red shirt.

Perkins was added to our neg list in August but he's been bouncing around other teams lists since at least 2020 so might be just lucky timing on our part but I won't complain.  Looks like he has a great skill set for the CFL and he's still only 28.

Nice signing! Great pedigree. Good college numbers, started a game in the NFL and got a ring with the Rams, and the UFL MVP! Now let’s sign Taylor Egersma and I feel good about our quarterback room.

Perkins has a some mechanics issues with his throws that contribute to a pretty slow delivery but he is very mobile and big. I like it.

Bigger bodied athletic QB...interesting...can't argue with this signing

Hopefully gets a lot of TC reps to get a good gauge on him

I like him. Hopefully he picks up the Canadian game well. The knock on him is that he doesn't read defences very well, We'll see I guess.

And this is the #1 most important thing to being a pro QB.... So that's a huge wait and see.

The thing I noticed is that he seems to be a "run first option", and that does not bode well, even in the CFL.

Its Perkins time!

It's got a nice ring to it.

Well, we do have restaurants named for him., just like Sean Salisbury.

Maybe he can be both an effective runner and passer! Here's hoping.
