A few comments about the game. Glad the Bombers won but there were still a few WTF moments starting with the coaching staff. There was some questionable play calling on both sides of the ball and

  • I thought Collaros was fantastic tonight....??

I have to laugh regarding Castillo: when he makes a kick my buddy yells out “Gulf of Mexico”. When he misses a kick it’s “Gulf of America”.  A lot more Mexico this year.

They should go for a prime Calvillo if they're time travelling to bring back an ex QB of theirs.

Fajardo at QB for the Als?

The correct depth chart:

All I can hope for is a better performance than last week.  If that happens we may have a decent game.

Bombers have a tough history with first start qbs. This guy doesn’t seem like a great athlete, so hopefully we can get to him.

Put a defensive halo around Snead and there’s not much else for him to throw to. Rambo’s decent, Spieker’s just ok, and that’s about it.

Beverette is usually good for an INT against Collaros, so keeping turn overs to just 1 int is going to be huge.

So is Ento.

Just stay away from those guys.

Shades of Rocky Butler still haunt my life.

I chuckled at a line this morning "the Als are one injury away from having Maas under centre..."

It's a game the bombers SHOULD win, but as we know, this season is a total crapshoot. Hoping that we continue to improve, even if only incrementally....

Amen! However the Bombers have been known to make rookie QB's look like an All Star when they first appear. And if their 4th string QB has some mobility we may be in for even more problems.  We should be able to stay in the game and maybe pull out a win unless we really goof up on both sides of the ball.

My prediction is that we see all three Als QB's and that Lemon tries some backside cheap shot on Collaros.

Let’s go! Just win baby. Get to 6-4 and then we have three huge games against the Riders coming up so there’s still a chance to win the west. But it starts here. I’d feel better going into Labour Day at 6-4 then sitting at .500

… and the refs will conveniently miss it 😕

I was just about getting over this then Arbuckle shows up.

Didn’t Maas nail us once with a 90% passing game?

I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when that happened. Probably the all time worst Bombers defense in my lifetime... Bob Irving sounded so displeased calling that game...

22 straight completions I think

how the hell is Shawn Lemon still in the league?

I hate how TSN won't even bring up that the dude was suspended for gambling on CFL games. Sports is in so deep with the gambling biz, it's ******* vile.

Ok, bitching aside, go bombers!

I believe it was 2005... I can vividly remember listening to CJOB in the house I was living in at the time in Dauphin.... I remember pacing around the living room.

I just really hope our D can create pressure  and the secondary doesn’t give a massive cushion.  I can’t stand watching us allow an inexperienced QB sit back and get comfortable making easy throws.

That was the Marcus Howell+Geoff Drover secondary game was it not? Horrible Times.

Yup very hard to watch when a third string inexperienced rookie has the time to comfortably go thru his reads.
